Praying The Lord's Prayer 

Thank you Jeff for helping fellow Christians to have a deeper understanding in the truth of the bible and who our Father in heaven is.

Jeff you are incredible I am new to the faith I have much to learn but my faith in god is there truly. I just reading the Bible and understanding I still have difficulties but I do my best and want to learn from others but be kept in the right path

At last I am beginning to understand this prayer taught by our Saviour. Thank you Lord for your faithful servant and your teaching that he brings - keep brother Jeff in his ministry, keep him on this narrow path and protect him in the difficult situations in which you lead him

If this guy walks the way he talks, I'm all in. If he doesn't, I'd rather not know, hence: don't dig too deep. Best preaching I've heard in a long long time.

Hooray, now my life is complete! (So much for going to sleep early tonight.) I hope this sermon touches on unanswered prayer. Yes, there is such a thing. I have been unemployed/under-employed for a decade now. Yes, God has provided for my needs in other ways. But the situation remains - no matter how much I have prayed and cried and begged and wailed. (In addition to doing my part, of course.)

Thank for this sermon series, Jeff I listened to all of this week and this one this morning. Even though these are a year old now, I love this sermon, it is a great and true sermon. There is times when I feel like I'm the pretender Christain. But, latley I've been trying to work on that. You are a very good Pastor. I love these and the sermons my Pastor gives on Sundays. I am a Baptist as well. I go to a Baptist church

*All men must come unto Christ:* “Wherefore, all mankind were in a lost and in a fallen state, and ever would be save they should rely on this Redeemer . . . . For it behooveth the great Creator that he suffereth himself to become subject unto man in the flesh and die for all men that all men might become subject unto him.” “He denieth none that come unto him, black and white, bond and free, male and female; and he remembereth the heathen; and all are alike unto God, both Jew and Gentile.” “Wherefore, he is the firstfruits unto God, inasmuch as he shall make intercession for all the children of men; and they that believe in him shall be saved. The Book of Mormon truly is a testimony of Jesus Christ and has been brought forth by the power of God in these latter days. Anyone who believes these words from the Book of Mormon (and I know these words are true) should contact the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to speak with the missionaries and find out for themselves that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored in these latter days.

I often pray a paraphrased version of the Lord's Prayer -- same essential prayer, but in my own words, to avoid allowing the prayer to become meaningless memorized chant. In church, of course, I pray it as Jesus instructed with the rest of our congregation.

Are the choices within my will within prayer the means by which I may change the world? (20:44) I feel as though this counteractive to Gods sovereignty. In all my years as a christian i certainly have grown in prayer to make the glorification of a sovereign God the center of every subject. But I remain sceptical to the sense of what I think is imperative and focus on that which is indicative of God. All this time I have never considered my prayers "as a means to change the world". As though I could know better what and how God should do anything.

Brother Jeff...Curious as to HOW MANY of the Mormons follow up with you? Got a %age or raw #? You close each witnessing encounter by giving them your name/email/etc and often say you'll take them out for a bit to eat. We know ISAIAH 55 says His word won't return void, but any fruit from your labor of love that you're able to enjoy?

"Hallowed" be Thy name does not mean for us to command God.... look it up.... webster... 1828..... the separate meaning for the two particular scriptures where God is revered(The Lords Prayer). DO NOT ATTEMPT TO COMMAND GOD... that is SIN.
