Look what arrived from Color Blends. I have two large crated of tulips, alliums, and hyacinth to pre-chill in the fridge for 10 weeks before planting. Having these bulbs in the fridge for 10 weeks will force the blooms in the Spring. I live in a Zone 8, so the nights may not get cool enough for these spring bulbs to bloom. Yes, you do need to pre-chill bulbs if you live in a zone 7b and up. I cannot wait to see how gorgeous these blooms are going to be in the Spring.
