Kate, you crack me up. You know I was googling about the "long active, mediums". That was great. Once my shoulder is good to go, I'll be ordering these ones. I'm hoping Dodi will get the pre-etched, short coffins in by then. He's for my flat nailbeds much better than others.

Kokoist also has a pre-etched gelly tip. I am still wearing a set I applied at the end of December. Still going strong with two fills and my own nails are grown out and protected.

You make this look so easy! I think the standing lamp makes such a huge difference because I tried Gelly tips with my normal “put your hand in” lamp and THAT WAS A MESS 👀👀 I might have to give that little stand up light a try! Because I love the ease of tips for length.

Pre-etched seems much more beginner friendly for a noob like me lol. Going on vacation in a couple of months I might give these a try! Because of you I’ve been into trying so many new liquids and brands - especially Triple D! Love your vids! ☺️

These are nice. I love the cupcake lamp. I actually have a box of pre-etched tips from Amazon. The brand is Gelike. I don’t know why all brands don’t do the pre-etch. It is a game changer.

Thanks for the excellent tutorial!! I 💚 a good full cover gel tips tutorial!! I have so many boxes of full cover gel tips, I don’t think I’ll buy more because they’re etched, but I do love the convenience of them! Have you ever tried a brand of full cover gel tips (not pre-etched) called Allkem? They are really good and have a really nice shape even after you cut them down. I where the long coffin and after cutting them down, they still have that coffin shape, just shorter and they don’t turn into a short square tip.

Awesome video. Never used full tips . I’m a mail tech and always use tips that are applied halfway but I always have to build up in the middle the apex. This would delete that step. What do y’all do next? Dip them per usual or put gel polish on them?

I wasn’t dipping before I had my kiddos but I did use gel, I also had my nails done in a salon while pregnant and my kiddos are healthy. I’d run it by your OB to get a professional opinion. 🥰

Do you have a more detailed shaping video? I have the same problem with tips. I’ve ordered the shorts but I have long ones I don’t want to waste but when I file them down and try to taper I get ski jump from my filing on the sides. I hope you see this comment 🤞

I don’t currently have a video targeted at shaping tips… I can keep that in mind for a future video. I know what you mean, sometimes filing the length off of longer tips does mess with the apex/curve of the tip.

Kate, I ordered triple D’s jelly tips, ultra bond, quick stick, and cupcake lamp, my full size led/Uv lamp is only 36 watts, would 60 seconds be long enough to cure the tips or should I cure longer?

Hi I hope you can help me with something. I have been trying to purchase triple d holiday diva box colors 38 & 39. (Nov 2021). Would you mind checking with the company to see if those colors are still available? I have emailed so many places and not been able to get a response. Hi there! Diva box colors are exclusive to the diva box each month, once that box sell out, they’re gone for good. The only way to get those colors would be if someone who purchased a box was selling the dips after the fact. 😔 Hope this helps clear things up.

Yes, it's on Triple D 's website and it's called Angel Baby. Dodi did a collab with all the embassadors where they designed their own individual colors. They came out so beautifully.

I love a gel tip. However, I can NEVER get the tips to stay on beyond a few hours. It makes me so sad. I wonder if it’s the KS gels. I don’t think it’s my technique. I’ve watched so many videos for application. I’m not sure. I’d love to have success.

I wanted so bad to do the coffin tips and I ordered the liquid and got the wrong tips I ordered stiletto I didn't see it in the little box I ordered the wrong ones they won't let me return them so if you know of anybody who needs some Stiletto tips they won't work on my fingers let me know! So mad at myself.

At least the ultra bond has HEMA… I’m not sure of one that doesn’t. Triple d lists ingredients on their website for most products, it should be a helpful guide for you.

Yes, I've been doing fills on mine using builder gel. I fill 2-3 times before I strip them and start with a new set of gellies so my apex stays on the correct spot.

I really like to use a peel base under my dip powder to remove it easily. When I want to remove gelly tips I use Get Naked which is a gel remover.
