I'm not 100% sure, we'll have to wait until its a bit more clear. But I assumed 2 melusines helped, and with 2 it's already one of the best weapons for Navia.

Navia Zhongli (shield, shred def, geo resonant) Bennet and Yanfi with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers weapon (pyro resonant 25% ATK and the weapon gives the active swap character (navia) 48% ATK on R5

Layla could work pretty well if you don't have zhongli since she also applies off field cryo, the crystallize shields will probably only take 1 or 2 hits before breaking. I don't have an answer ready for your question but I'll be sure to answer it in my upcoming guide.

Why ningguang though. Does she synergize with navia?

@@cursey7304 She's another geo character who scales exclusively off of attack, has very short cooldowns with high damage, and on-demand geo attacks that can trigger crystalize.

We already now her base stats and multipliers, using all these numbers with theoretical artifacts (set bonus included, all rolls are using KQM standard) you can find how much damage a specific weapon gives you for a certain talent. I combined her kit to get this damage number. The numbers you see here should be around 40% higher for all weapons, and all of this is without considering team buffs. Search Genshin damage formula if your interested.

You could argue that mona is better than furina since most ofyour dps window is quite tight

Mb I just noticed, they're all R1. It's so high up because it's at max stacks, if you use serpent spine in the abyss for example, you can just wait to get all stacks then start.

No you're not getting any constellations or a signature weapon starting this late. Maybe you can get her since her banner is in 30 days and lasts 20 days so thats an entire 50 days.

Just keep playing and keep saving coz you might see another future character that you want more than Navia.

You could save for 2 hard pities if you start fresh in a new account. I tried it once, in a couple of days I was able to get Alhaitham after losing his 50/50. This all depends on how much you want to grind, the 2 hard pities I got were at multiple regions fully explored and at adventure rank 35.

Navia's passive wants your team to have 2 other elements, and you will need at least one other element aside from geo for crystalize.

It is better without Bennett. The more of one thing you have (for example attack in our case) the less effective it becomes, so with Bennett you will be stacking more attack, making Wolf's gravestone a bit worse in damage compared to weapon's that increases crit or DMG%. Even with Bennett it's a decent weapon.

you can use it, but the passive is unlikely to activate. Anyways the weapon sheet does not count for it's passive.

Yeah my bad, I noticed there were atleast 3 different pronunciations of Navia's name. This is because I'm not the one doing the voice over.

Furina's HP drain isn't counted as taking damage!

@@gribberoni lol glad to know as i have R5SS 90 lvl lying around and discarded it at first. However, i am likely to pull for her BIS as it reminded me of Escanor and imo it is one of the best looking 5*weapon in the game.

The best option out of these would be Navia Furina Bennett and a second geo for the geo resonance, Zhongli Alebdo Ningguang or even Noelle can fit the team.

@@MistsplitterReforged I never thought of Noelle, but you're right, since Navia can be a sub dps and Noelle can be switched even with the burst on. It also solves the healing problem that's bothering me, while balancing the buff and the overall dmg of the whole party to maximize fanfare buff. I also mained Noelle in the beginning of the game, kinda nostalgic.

More attack on top of more attack would make the stat more redundant. While you still gain damage, a weapon that increases DMG% would make use of Bennett more. The more you stack a single stat (like ATK), the more you want to focus on other stats.

You could still make some teams work, if you like her pull for her.

I can't 100% guarantee, but no we haven't been told anything about her being a standard character.

I like her but honestly no. So far judging from her kit, she's strong but not as much as Neuvillette and other characters.

I still want Navia since I'm a tall character collector but I might have to skip for now. I will pull for the weapon banner though coz it's just too good. Getting the Mistsplitter while aiming for her axe would be nice. My eyes are set on Cloud Retainer now after finding out she has a crowd control that pulls enemies together. I need her utility for my current team.

Her supports are seperate from itto, you can have both its fine. They both not that great too so yeah…

⁠@@kondoriano4813except all the good geo characters don’t even use geo… The only part of geo that benefits it’s characters is it’s resonance. Everything else is the characters themselves. Geo does not offer anything in terms of reactions, do you realize how big of a problem that is? Look at hyperbloom, melt and vaporize, heck even superconduct. Every element has a reaction that benefits its characters, meanwhile geo characters are forced to pull their own weight. It simply doesn’t make sense how this element’s only reaction is some flimsy shield

@aperson6562 Geo is designed specifically as a neutral element, it's never supposed to be reliant on reactions. You're bitching about damage for a game that has no endgame content besides the easy Spiral Abyss. If you can't even beat that with Geo then it's massive skill issue on your part 🤷🏻‍♂️

Anyway, the basis of my previous argument was that geo characters are able to achieve what they do not because of their element, why regurgitate that in your reply? The whole point of the element system in genshin was to add another layer to the typical roles present in games. Basically every team, even physical, makes use of the elements in some way, so it doesn’t make sense from a design standpoint why geo performs so poorly as an element. It has only one reaction, which is already a problem. But what’s an even bigger problem is, the game rewards you for running geo on its own rather than with other elements( look at geo resonance, and geo characters’ kits in general. This fundamentally prevents you from using the one reaction geo has, not that it would add much benefit. If you still aren’t convinced geo isn’t a bad element, try making any geo unit a different element and see if they wouldn’t be better off.

You literally said that then still tries to claim it's bad when it'd purposefully designed to be a neutral element. That's literally how it contributes to the game...amazing how you still didn't get that after typing all that bullshit. Geo is perfectly fine as is and it's comps can perfectly clear the Abyss including the one we have now. It's ok if you have skill issue for an easy game with no endgame combat content besides the Abyss, not everyone is good at gaming.
