Preach Watches the Shadowbringers Trailer 

Ever since I finished Shadowbringers I get emotional whenever I see the trailer again. So much forshadowing in it and the theme just gets to me every time. ALSO after seeing this so many times I just now realized the job changes in the fight follow the order of the story 1.0 Archer, 2.0 Warrior, 3.0 Dragoon, and 4.0 Monk/Samurai.

My favorite reaction in the entire world is watching people react to “I promise you, Minfilia”

He literally has no idea, this is perfect. This journey will be magnificent.

Still get chills when the song starts. This expansion is a masterpiece, enjoy it!!

Actually hyped to see Mike experience shadowbringers

His reaction to the Minfilia line is great and the same one we all had when first hearing it. Have fun, man. ShB is a damn rollercoaster.

I just finished Shadowbringers a few days ago and am now about 20 quests into Endwalker. Stoked to see Mike experience it.

Still a knot in the chest after all this time. Right in the feels...

This trailer is still the best out of all of them. It hits you right in the feels. And watching it back after having finished the MSQ it only intensifies that feeling.

I love the music in Endwalker, I really do! But there is something so special about Shadowbringers' music that just gives such a pure emotional surge

The cutscene where that guitar riff is used is possibly the best moment in any video game I have ever played. You will know it when you get to it....

I love how they change a weird name (warrior of darkness) and make it something really fitting and honestly a bit sad in the context of Shb. Its so cool

Damn, every time I watch this trailer I get more hyped for Shadowbringers even having played all the way through the MSQ lol. Just a great cinematic that really had you going WTF is going on, wait what? Perfect really.

And know, let the extraordinary journey begin! Shadowbringers and Endwalker are just.... out of the world.

I don't think the Shadowbringers trailer will ever be topped for me. Everything about it is so perfect, the music, the job changes, the cinematics and story, and when it starts playing Eternal Wind I tear up. It's such an emotional experience seeing.

Watching these still give me chills and makes me cry everytime.

One of my favorite things about the Shadowbringers trailer is watching Derplander actually have to struggle, and seeing him basically get smashed while pulling out all of the stops with switching from job to job. It is a good metaphor/allegory for the journey through the expansion.

the best thing about this trailer is watching it again after you finish the expansion and seeing all the little pieces falling into place (at the same time that tears run down your cheek). The best expansion in my opinion (but, I didnt finished endwalker yet!) :P

When you think about it, parts of the trailer tell the stories of the scions and the events that happen prior to your arrival in the first.

This was a fantastic react compared to most streamers who feel the need to talk over it and end up missing parts. Some things are just so perfectly crafted that they speak for themselves, and for all the times I've seen this trailer it still gets me every time. Just watching his face was more than enough.

There's so much good to this trailer but there's one thing that gets me every time. When the camera slows down at the Viera dancer, it feels like a small fourth wall break because she gets a little smirk and her eyes turn to look directly at the camera knowingly.

i love how every person who watches the SHB trailer for the first time has their own theories about what is going on and they're usually so off the mark.

The great thing about this trailer is that it leaves you questioning so many things. New characters, old characters, new plots, old plots, new areas, old areas, etc. Then when you actually finish playing Shadowbringers, you are left in awe on what a journey it was.

Turned it on audio-only and forgot this was a reaction after a few minutes until the quiet "Was that a fuckin angel??" in the background haha

I saw this trailer before ever playing the game and it was hype enough. Realizing that it's meant to make the player ask questions about what the hell is going on made it that much better on repeat view.

I love how Mike was just to stunned to say anything during the trailer. Thats when you know its good.

I've been done with Endwalker and I still get goosebumps watching this trailer. Preach is in for one hell of a wild ride in his Shadowbringers journey! And wild it certainly will be!

Best expansion ever. I still get emotional and chills watching this trailer. I loved Endwalker but for me Shadowbringers is still the highlight of FFXIV for me. So many good memories.

This trailer was my first exposure to FFXIV. All these years later, I’m so glad I gave it a try.

I count Shadowbringers as it's own Game, like every FF Xpac. It's so well written. So much chills and tears i got. Preach will wetten his pants after Shadowbringers. It is pure Gold.

the trailer still makes me sweat / gives me goosebumps no matter how many times I watch it. so gooood cant wait to see Mike's journey. its just the gift that keeps on giving

This trailer is still 10/10. I remember the first time they showed it off at a fan fest and it just melted everyone's brains. We waited for a long while for it to come out. And boy howdy, did it deliver in spades.

I’ve seen this trailer so many millions of times but it always makes me hyped watching.

Rewatching this brought back some real nostalgia.. god damn some of the best gaming memories of my life.

Seeing his reaction to the trailer was really fun for me. I remember, vividly, my own immense confusion when I first watched it, which was then followed quickly by intense speculation and theorizing. It's my favorite video game trailer of all time.

Originally when I saw the cinematic, yeah it was cool and all but I never really felt anything too strongly about it one way or another. And then I played Shadowbringers...

Whole game aside, if you watch the trailer reactions, Preach's hair makes a bigger comeback than the game itself

I'm so glad I waited til partway through shadowbringers to watch the trailer. There's some plot twists that are just tossed away in the cinematic that I'm glad I got to see for the first time while playing

The Dark Knight part is just /chef's kiss That trailer single handedly made me go back to playing 14, buy the whole thing, sub, finish the previous expansions, and SHB in under two months.

I haven't beat this expansion yet but after watching the trailer again there is so much story being told without you even realizing. I can't wait to go back and watch it again after I complete the Shadowbringers MSQ.

Super excited. Shadowbringers was the best gaming experience I think I've ever had . And I just leveled through it I didn't finish until right before EW released.

I wish I could erase my memories and play it all over again. Though I am very privileged to have binged all of FF14 from ARR to Endwalker in just a few weeks ( started in November, finished EW at the end of December ) Probably the best story and NPC followers I've ever seen in a game. I always get chills at the Minfilia reveal. People were SOBBING during the initial reveal trailer.

The SHB song is my favourite FF song, I love it so much, it makes my blood sing.

Amazing patch. The amount of world building they do in just that one patch is unrivaled in any mmo ever. ShB and HW are tops for xpansions, imo. Can't wait to see how much you love it.

[POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR ENDWALKER????] This is in regards to the Endwalker trailer, compared to the trailers for all the other expansions. So don't read ahead if you wanna be completely blind (it doesn't really feel like this will be spoilery cause I'm gonna be vague as heck). All the stuff that happens in the previous trailers, never actually happens in the story themselves. They're really just a way to establish the atmosphere and tone for the story. With the Endwalker trailer however, it's so weird how EVERYTHING that was said/shown in the trailer (all the voiced lines) are actually in the main story. Just either out of context, out of order, or missing crucial information. It technically spoils what happens in the expansion, but again, all out of context and out of order, so unless you know, you'll never actually KNOW without playing the game.

Now it starts! Now I will be watching every video you make….!
