@@alancarnell2747 I agree with that. Never was into comics before because I'm like how many times can you tell a spider man, Batman, or Superman story 🙄 Now that I know there are better original stories than DC and Marvel I'm interested in reading more.
Raymond Flores I cant tell you if it lives upto the comics, but I enjoyed it a lot. I think my biggest issue was that Jesse is a bit whiny, but overall a pretty badass dude haha.

Your narration process is awesome and has actually made me buy full volumes for rereads on my own. Once for me, but great to have when internet craps out, or power and you have a reading light. Paperbacks have value and you pushed me into them.

Great stuff, man. Small issue. Rapacious means "greedy" officially, but the term comes from the root word "rape." Obviously your video hasn't been taken down by triggered lunatics, but I'd hate to see someone so genuine attacked for a single wrong word. His hunger or lust for blood can be rapacious, but not his wit.(I'm sure it is technically possible for a character to have a rapacious wit, but I've never seen it. The word you are looking for is "rapier" which is the thin bladed sword that fencing foils imitate. Like the sword, a rapier wit is "sharp" "cutting" "swift" or "pointed." (Although, to be perfectly fair, if people would get up in arms over rapacious, they would probably find rapier offensive based solely on a phonetic reading. Thank you for the great video. There are a few others that share your enthusiasm in different lore/story videos. (Baldermort, for example) In my opinion, enthusiasm/quasi-reverence is the single most important quality to have. You got that in spades.

Hey Danny Thanks for all the great content man! Because Preacher is a pretty long series as a break somewhere in between I would recommend Happy! by Grant Morrison and art by Darick Robertson. It’s great and has the same artist from the boys.
Fuckin love Preacher. Read the whole thing in 2015/2016 when a co-worker loaned the whole series to me to prepare for the show. This is why this channel is the best. Also, the show is pretty good. It's a slow burn most of the time but to see a lot of these things play out on the show is krazy as fuck. Great work as usual Danny.
I think you might show a little too much comic when telling it. That may be the reason they hit you with that warning. Even though i am a subscriber to comicstorian and comics explained you show more of the comic. Man i love your channel and i don't want you to contemplate quitting this channel. Finally someone has done it! thank you! A suggestion (that others may not agree with) leave out explaining events ahead of time. The build-up and not knowing who/what people are is part of the magic. For example, wondering why Cassidy doesn't die, or wtf the Saint of Killers is.
Im sorry but i cant help but laugh imagining an angel-demon baby scaring God out of heaven. Angel:"Mighty God. an angel banged a demon. What shal we do?" God:" Oh no im not dealing with this,your problem now, im getting out of dodge" Also, no way that angels and demons havent gotten down in the past
The most fun I ever had reading anything! I read a lot of complex literature. Hated comics but in the 90s discovered these books and Neil gaiman and changed my view. Still hate cookie cutter crap.
the preacher? ...more like "the smoker" IDK but i kind of find it uncomfortable the amount of cigarettes the guy smokes in every conversation he has. Hope that has something to do with the plot and not to make him look cool, because he doesn't , of course this was written in the 90s "you cool if you smoke like a chimney" I don't find this comic really appealing to be honest. I think I'll pass on this one.
