Thanks, Juliet, for the comparison--I think we'll all live through the "Swarovski side step". If they don't appreciate the people who have been using their product, why should we have such an allegiance to them?

Last year I ordered a bag of bicones from a vendor on eBay. I mistakenly ordered Preciosa thinking I was ordering Swarovski. They were beautiful. I learned by mistake that Preciosa is very good quality so I’ve already switched for the most part. I do love many of the Swarovski fancy stones...but will survive! Actually, I’m very disappointed in Swarovski. Thank you!!

I'm so angry at how Swarovski dealt with this. Just staggering! The pearls are going to be tough to replace. Thank you so much for the comparison!

Hiya Margie, we're not worried about the pearls - Preciosa have a wonderful range of Crystal Pearls and the quality is just as good as Swarovski, additionally we already have a brilliant range of Czech Glass pearls which are very, very high quality (no issues with the colour flaking off and a really nice weight as they are glass) - you'll find them here www.spoiltrottenbeads.co.uk/product-category/pearl-beads-preciosa-glass-pearls/

Ordering some Preciosa crystals today, I love the colours. Not sure they’ll get to Gran Canaria before Christmas, but it will be something to look forward to.
