Excellent job straight to the point I have a question for you I have this exact generator and I bought it a year ago and I have it in the box. The oil was already in it so it’s ready to go just add gas and follow your directions what do you think I should do should I put gas in it and have it running and then every three months run it for a while like they suggest or should I just leave it in the box until I need it with no gas in it and no gas in the carburetor of course
Thank you. Make sure it has oil! They usually don’t come with oil. It’s always good to start them up once In a while, but I let mine sit for a long time no issues as well
Manual says necessary to ground the generator- I see many generators being run without grounding them - can you explain how that works- I’m a first time generator owner
Mines brand new, did exactly what this guy said. It won't start... no idea why. It has oil, and gas and I've read the instructions over and over again. And I've used tons of generators. But this thing refuses to start...
Good question! I personally have never ran it ever in any of my generators. I have a lot of these lol. Wouldn’t hurt to run it though, especially since they recommend it! I’m sure it’s better long term for the carbs
@@tunerworld ? It’s in direction it’s a grounding cable, it has the place on the machine to connect it to, but as with others, like the Honda, it does not come with the pole you put stick in earth and ground it to machine,
@@tunerworld I did and it wouldn't even act like it will crank. Never been cranked or out of the box and I'm just trying to figure out if I'm doing something wrong or missing something
@@tunerworld I finally got it...I unfollowed the unopened box instructions and put it on RUN to start instead of START and fired right up with a simple pull. 😀
@@tunerworld yea it’s never started once on start , just when I put it on run. Maybe someone warmed it up for me before they sealed it in the box lol 🤷🏼♀️ 😁

I'm so pissed.......brought one, started it up and was good to go. Tried to start it 2 days later and it wouldn't start. It only ran one time.......I checked everything but it would not start again. So I returned and got another one AND THIS ONE WILL NOT START AT ALL.......yes I put correct gas and correct amount of oil and NOTHING.....I'm returning this one and I'm not getting another one of these!!!
