Yeah I realized it sounds a bit hypocritical from my side lol! For me, I figured that Spiny Desert and Western Land, despite sharing a desert theme, still differed enough in just about every other area (including the atmosphere, since Western Land is more cheerful while Spiny Desert feels more dangerous). Whereas in comparison, Creepy Cavern and Bowser's Keep both give off the feel of being dark, quiet mineshaft caves with lava elements.
I dont know about of what the Nintendo E-Shop said about the total amount of boards its states since they may referring towards the amount of boards to START WITH since people are expecting unlockable characters since WHY would they instantly reveal unlockable content in the direct since they ALWAYS not reveal unlockable boards in general, so im expecting they should reveal at least 3 to even the amount of boards just like how they even the amount of characters ESPECIALLY Super Mario Party since the theme of the characters selection screen is most likely going to be the same as Super, and as for the board im i think it will be 1 for either be MP1 or MP2 and 2 for MP3 since Mario Party 3 got the short end of the stick of number of boards in Superstars with ONLY 1.
Also, I hope Nintendo doesn’t ditch MP9 and MP10 and tries with the car mechanic again. It sometimes feels like the "I can fix it" of Mario Party games. I think it could make for even better boards if given more time in the oven.
I'm finally back from my lovely vacation in Denmark, so I thought I could finish up a short little video I was working on beforehand! Which Mario Party 3 boards would you like to see in this game? Let me know down below!
Or! Maybe Creepy Cavern could be the penultimate board of the game, but once you beat that and all the other boards, the mountain erupts, revealing it to be a volcano, and then Bowser’s board could “form”! Definitely not but I guess it’s a possibility lol
I really hope we get a new board either as dlc or as a secret because I want at least 8 boards in this game so I would be happy with either spiny desert, waluigi island, A mario party 4 board or koopa's tycooon from 8.
And as for boards you listed, I still think Chilly Waters can still happen since you did stated in the start of the video that all the CONFIRMED BOARDS in the game are EASY BOEARDS and besides when you saw the direct 2 of the confirmed boards in the hub world of the game are NOT visible so we COULD see Chilly Waters being added possibly on top of the Bowser themed board, For Deep Blooper Sea i think its likely like you stated and for Spiny Dessert i dont agree even thou you said they LOOK different but remember Western Land is BASED on a desert since the US also has desserts too so i cant see it getting in, but Creepy cavern has a very high chance since it can easily be placed in the cracked wall in the Island of the hub world.
If there’s a DLC for Super Mario Party Jamboree (which I don’t believe we will sadly get one ☹️), I think they would add one broad from each Mario Party series. Here’s my pick: Mario Party 3 - Chilly Water (Winter) Mario Party 4 - Toad's Midway Madness (Amusement Park) Mario Party 5 - Toy Dream (Toyland) Mario Party 6 - E. Gadd’s Garage (Laboratory) Mario Party 7 - Windmillville (Netherlands) Mario Party 8 - DK’s Treetop Temple (Jungle) Mario Party DS - Toadette’s Music Room (Music Room)
Ideas for a DLC: Board 1: A new board based on a snow mountain. It would have avalanches that send you at a lower height. It could even have Toad cabins and secret paths through ice crevasses. Board 2: Boo’s Haunted Bash from MP4. Right now, there’s no haunted board confirmed for SMPJ. Assuming we get a GCN board for this DLC, Boo’s Haunted Bash would be a logical choice, even though this isn’t a board I particularly enjoy. Board 3: Koopa’s Tycoon Town from MP8, to represent the Wii era. This board is a fan favorite, and its mechanic could really make for complex and interesting ideas with even more creativity put into it. Board 4: A stadium, with a similar atmosphere to Wario Colosseum from MKDD. It could have fire hazards that make you lose coins, battle mini-games that happen if you land on a specific space on a battle ring zone, and varied board design. This would really make for a climactic send off to this DLC.
As I promised here’s my comment after I watched your video. Very good job and I do hope we see some more retro boards but I’m not complaining if we don’t.😁
I would love the waluigi's board but I am not expecting any more boards due to the fact this game already has more boards than superstars and super mario party, I also believe the theory that Mario's raimbow castle and western land were originally going to be DLC for superstars. I would be surprised if we get another board but I can see Nintendo keeping Waluigi's board a secret due to its popularity
I think Spiny Desert would be most likely since Mario Party 1 had Rainbow Castle, the first board, and Mario party 2 had Western Land, the second board, 1 had 1st, 2 had 2nd, so 3 would have 3rd maybe. Spiny Desert is the third board in Mario Party 3.
This game looks so good! All the boards look in-depth and fun, this looks like the return of the classic mario party we wanted!( i'm not really counting superstars, since it only has classic boards and minigames, and it would be really hard to mess those up.)
I don’t see any of the board featured in Superstars returning, even if Woody Woods is in there, I’m keeping my copy of Superstars just for that I think their will be boards that haven’t had remakes before
I’m really excited for this game, it might be the best Mario Party yet and will top every other one. (Hopefully it can beat the amount of boards from Mario Party 1) I hope Chilly Waters from Mario Party 3 returns
I hope that Spiny Desert isn’t coming back, or that they remove the quicksand mechanic. It’s just really annoying because you can spend a whole game on this board being stuck here because of the ? spaces.
I personally think we need a Mario Party 3 board for the game, since 1 & 2 are getting representation, it would make sense for all N64 Mario Parties getting a board. Not to mention, Mario Party Superstars only had one board from Mario Party 3, it hurts so much the fact that Mario Party 3 has some amazing boards. But if I had to pick one board from Mario Party 3 to return in Jamboree, I think it should be Chilly Waters, we haven't gone a winter themed board in a such long time.
I just have a question, why do people hate Creepy Caverns? I am currently playing MP games on the N64 online service for the Switch and I am still yet to play Mario Party 3.
Getting from the left side of the board to the right and vice versa is a bit frustrating since it can only happen through event spaces or through skeleton key doors at the top and bottom. In addition, there's a Whomp that blocks going up and down on each half unless you give them an item. It's a bit more of a complex map that way, but I think that just makes it more engaging lol!
One thing I thought is that creepy cavern can still have a chance, if horror land was added in superstars despite a theming clash with woody woods, then maybe creepy caverns can change a bit to be more distinct from king bowser’s keep.
it might make more sense to instead of having a secret board not in the hub world, there could be a mode that lets you play on all the boards across the hub world like a super board.
Unfortunately I can’t watch the video right now but I will later when I’m able to. Saw the title and since I typed up something related to this ~2 weeks ago I decided I may as well share it: Super Mario Party Jamboree has 5 nitro boards and 2 retro boards that have been confirmed. The 2 retro boards are MP1 Mario’s Rainbow Castle & MP2 Western Land which are notably both N64 Mario Parties. 5-2 equals 3 which happens to be the number of N64 Mario Party entries and also happens to be the number of retro Mario Party boards needed so that the number of retro Mario Party boards is equal to the number of nitro Mario Party boards which would then equal a total of 10. Mario Party Superstars had 2 MP1 boards, 2 MP2 boards, and 1 MP3 board. Adding 3 additional retro N64 Mario Party boards with each N64 entry getting 1 to Jamboree would also result in 2 MP1 boards, 2 MP2 boards, and 1 MP3 board. Could very well be a coincidence but the fact there’s 3 N64 Mario Parties and the retro selection is exactly 3 from matching the nitro board count makes me wonder if perhaps additional secret boards or a future N64 board DLC is a possibility with 1 board from each N64 entry. Assuming we get 1 additional N64 board from each N64 entry here are my predictions: •MP1: Luigi’s Engine Room •MP2: Mystery Land (please make this better than the original if we get it remade) •MP3: Waluigi’s Island If we do actually get more boards I would LOVE to see some from more than just the N64 entries though. Some GameCube boards would be appreciated and maybe even a board from 8 or DS too as a bonus, if not in Jamboree then a future entry please Nintendo. Also in the event we do get the additional N64 boards, Nintendo perhaps consider giving MP3 an extra board at the expense of MP1 or MP2 since MP3 was underrepresented in Superstars. Chilly Waters or Spiny Desert would be a welcome addition. Anyways I am going to watch your video later when I can. Looking forward to it.😁
So, for the crack that is on the beach.... the green outside doesn't remind you of Creepy Cavern? It's a different shade of green and a different texture from the rest of the grass... I think it matches the green water that is in creepy cavern *shrugs*
What seems more likely is instead of 1 secret board there are 3 to 7 DLC boards. Some of the boards could be Deep bloober sea or waluigis island from mario party 3 Koopa seaside sioree from mario party 4 Undersea dream from mario party 5 Towering treetop from mario party 6 Grand canal from mario party 7 Koopa tycoon town from mario party 8
I dont think that is likely since the ALL of the past boards that returned where just N64 boards and i think we will get just Mario Party 1-3 and nothing beyond that and cant see then adding a board that is very similar towards a board that already exist, so IF the people who is in charge of the series DOES decided to make DLC, i think they will make the following boards are: MP1: Luigi's Engine Room Warios Battle Canyon MP3: Chilly Waters Deep Blooper Sea Creepy Caverns
Honestly, just having more boards and sticking wjth the old formula (not cointing Super) is fine by me. I hope theey keep bringing back old boards and even old minigames. Many of them are good, and the ones who aren't can be improved like Peach's Birthday Cake.
For me I would like three more retro boards so it's the most in the series and it's even 5 retro and five new so I would like one from MP3, one from MP4 because of the gamecube games MP4 has the boards closest too the n64 games and one from MP8.
Although they said seven all-in-all, IF I were to pick three extras to even out the nitro and retro selections: DK's Jungle Adventure (MP1) - a jungle-themed board. An alternative would be Luigi's Engine Room, yet we already have a nitro interior board that could have similar callbacks in its own form. Another would be Eternal Star, yet I'll stick with what I chose. Not only that, but DK's Jungle Adventure is also the first ever board in the series. How fitting. Chilly Waters (MP3) - a snow-themed board and we have not had one of those in a VERY long time. Waluigi Island (MP3) - no description needed. A good alternative would be Deep Bloober Sea for an underwater-themed board, yet they already know the majority would prefer and furtherly buy for Waluigi Island. It would be pleasant to even see at least these three for DLC (retro) boards.
I think DK's Jungle Adventure would overlap a bit with Mega Wiggler's Tree Party due to the similar theme, but I'd definitely love to get even more boards!
