My prediction is that no team will win the finals lebron will get there and say “no, not like this” and walk away and the NBA will end on a cliffhanger
The rockets picked up dillon brooks for his dance moves. With the way he moves those hips, theres no way Udoka will get distracted by a staff member. He'll be blowin that brooksie back out
big fan but i have a tip. you could have done each conference in separate videos. helps to keep the video shorter and gives you 2 vids for the price of 1
In my opinion, the Steven Adams loss kind of sinks Memphis's season. I'm not saying they're going to be awful or something, but they weren't the same last year after he was injured. Maybe they'll trade for a big and manage to steady the ship that way. But I don't see a clear replacement out there. Robert Williams could help, but he doesn't play anything like Adams does. They're also still without Brandon Clarke. If we see him at all this year, it's going to be at least halfway into the season. When you combine that with the Ja injury, I'm just not very high on them despite how much respect I have for their coaching staff and front office.
Rusty: this team is going to be better than last years: this team is going to be better than last years: this team is going to be better than last years:, Its gonna be SOME LONG ASS PLAYOFFS
@@kettlemypedals You're probably right but I think there are some teams that we either think had a good off-season where fit or health will be worse than we think. and some teams that we think will be healthier only to be hit by the injury bug again. NBA is way to unpredictable Bro
I don’t think brooklyns as bad as you think. They made some great moves over the summer. Simmons seems primed to get back to form, Claxton is super underrated as a center, and Mikal is a beast and a full season of him as the #1 option should be a pretty fun team to watch. I expect them to be around 6th seed at best.
last year was the first year they had a team capable of doing shit 😭if they dont make the playoffs its gonna be obviously embarrassing and disappointing but sga's still a top 10 player
Jordan poole is gonna have the same star turn as gilbert arenas. Luka will finally win mvp. And its gonna be clippers vs bucks in the finals. With us finally getting clippers vs lakers in the playoffs
@@Enlightened_SpursFan haha oops, I meant to put them in last in the west. With all due respect, I just don’t think wemby will play a ton of minutes and games this season and other bottom tier teams in the west have more overall talent.
Brooklyn will be a pretty good offense as long as Ben stays aggressive . Idk what your talking about rusty. They have the pieces to be on the high side of middle of the pack specifically because of their defense . Offense may even be good sue to been a passing ability and the fact that the team is full of people who have no issues playing a role, chemistry will be craazy good.
Don't know about Ivey being traded. Bojan has a better chance of being traded with his value at its peak. Ivey would only be traded if the player we're receiving is just too good to pass up on.
Please rate these players peaks 1-4. Russell Westbrook, Steve Nash, CP3, and D. Rose. p.s. I love the predictions videos, some of these are bound to be great and some horribly wrong lol
My prediction is Zion will play 60+ games and the Pelicans still won't be very good. I say this even though I'm a Pelicans fan. They're already decimated by injuries and the season hasn't even started. Trey Murphy is an absolutely critical piece for their 3pt volume. They're going to lose a bunch of games this year simply because they hit 6-7 threes and the other team hits 15+. Additionally, Nance is probably going to be out a while. He's their closing center. And Alvarado and Herb Jones are both dealing with injuries too. I think Zion is going to have the best year of his career, and it's not going to matter because the Pelicans are cursed.
The Payton Prichard take is absolutely insane, 0 defense and is relegated to camping in the corner in the playoffs bc his handle and playmaking isn’t good enough to justify having the ball in his hands. Grant Williams is so much better than Payton, they’ll regret choosing Payton over grant for years
My man is a serial Suns hater. Suns: Great off season, solve locker room issues by trading Ayton, show in preseason that their offense is more movement based than expected. Rusty: I'm gonna ignore all of that, 2nd round exit. Pelicans: We did absolutely nothing over the offseason, our team barely made the play in and Zion never had a 50 game season. Rusty: I'm gonna ignore all of that, I believe! Lmao
Saying Austin reeves is good while saying Dillon is bad is poor analysis. Dillon is a much better player, Austin has a better team. Organizationally and team wise the leadership for Austin was stacked in his favor and vastly underperforms compared to Dillion. Austin’s best numbers are Dillon’s bad nights.
Did you just say you expect PP to show he’s one of the best PGs in the NBA? Ima give you the benefit of the doubt and assume maybe you meant one of the best backups…? Or one of the best value PGs bc of his contract? It’s hard for me to even think he’s going to be one of the best backups. I mean they have Jrue and White, I don’t expect him to play like 25MPG or something lol. If he can be a + in the regular season for like 15-18MPG that’d be a huge jump for him, and if he can be a + AT ALL in the playoffs, even for like 10MPG (non garbage time) that’s a massive leap. PG is such a deep position in the NBA. It depends on who you define as a PG, who’s a backup, etc…but just to name some good ones or young guys who could be real good backups: Nembhard, Brogdon, Tyus, (could backup Poole, could play some together, could get traded) Alvarado, Jevon, IQ, Sexton ig, Cole, McConnell, Shake, Isaiah Joe is sort of a backup pg, Melton, Hard. That’s e1 off the top of my head, not saying they’re all better…but I’d be shocked if he was better than the majority of this list. We’ll see, and again you prolly misspoke?
As a Houston fan, between KPJ's, situation we'll call it, and Dillon Brooks being terrible, I think Amen will be getting plenty of minutes, especially if Van Fleet is still sub 40% from the field, I think Whitmore is gonna be the one who gets screwed on minutes.
Idk why u so hard on the bulls, what other team can lose their offensive orchestrator n still be good!? Losing a good point guard n best defender there ain’t no being good after that.
My predictions are that someone will get injured, and someone will get to the finals and win it. Plus LeBron will probably be gassed during the later games in the season. Since he’s old…
Nah as a Raptors fan that watched almost every game last year, Vanvleet and Nurse were the problem. Vanvleet was playing hero ball for his contract and Nurse has always been over reliant on his top players. Last season Scottie showcased he has the ability to take over in a 4th quarter, getting back to back buckets and stops on his own. And he has been showing that same level of 4th quarter aggression all pre season. Plus his shot has looked better, and Darko's new .5 second ball sharing philosophy translates perfectly to Scotties aggressive playmaking. It's much more likely Scottie has a breakout season this year, but we'll have to wait and see.
Regarding the Grizzlies: i think you either did not consider or entirely undervalued how impactful Steven Adams is to that defense, and losing him for the year will be much more detrimental than you might be considering. Regarding the Pels: i dont think anyone denies how good the Pels are when Zion plays, but we also dont like to dabble in fantasies like Zion playing for too long, lest we lose a grip on the reality that he would prefer to sit if he got a paper cut 😂
