Can anyone explain to me how this works with the getting gold and bidding itwhile raiding/at the end? GDKP runs or something like that, right?

You bid for any items you want and the total gold spent to buy any raid items goes into a "pot" where all raid members get split 80% of it,usually raid leaders get 20% cut.

I dont currently. Making 2 new chars in pre-patch on my current servers already. So will be busy with those in pre-patch :D Got all my chars, professions, items, gold, guilds etc on normal servers already :)

I really enjoy watching your videos. But its always sad to see how gold isnt worth anything, since like probley 80% of the player in that raid are buying gold with real Money.

I would say 99% of the raiders he raids with in ALL 5? raids buys gold.

I would say actually a small fraction of players are buying gold, the rest are using gold earned in gdkps from selling gear to said buyers. I personally know one gold buyer that buys upwards of 200k gold a week to gear his characters. That one guy alone funds 2-3 raid groups with gold pots

Thats like saying having a mansion and a ferrari isn't rich because you have 3 mansions and a 24 car collection. You might have so much gold u can spunk it away on a cloak but for the average player 14k would change their entire game
