20 weeks pregnant with my first baby and working as a healthcare worker amidst COVid chaos. Thank you for your videos. They help me relax and feel normal.
Vegan/vegetarian DHA exists, thats what I take! It's derived from algae which is where fish get it and why its in fish oil. So you can cut out the middle man (fish) and get it straight from the source! Great video!
21 weeks pregnant with my first baby, a little boy also! I have loved and appreciated all of your videos (whether pregnancy related or not) and i feel like i will feel way more prepared as i get closer to giving birth!
When choosing a prenatal please try to make sure it has ‘folate’ not ‘folic acid’. Folate is natural, from leafy greens, folic acid is the man made version and a large percentage of women react to it, not to mention your body can’t use a synthetic ingredient as well as a natural one. I bought several different brands before I realized why they were making my joints fall apart (and that stuff is expensive!)
Kaytlin McKinley I feel like I’ve been watching nothing but things like this or actual birth vlogs. I need to be prepared!! 🤣 (also congrats on baby and I love that we are the same length in!! My due date is November 17th as of right now but dr said they may change that at the next ultrasound who knows lol)
Hannah Barrett oh my gosh that’s crazy! My dude date is November 18th currently! Yeah I’m pretty much only watching those same videos 😂😂 congrats on your baby as well!! It’s so exciting!❤️
I'm 25weeks today and also a vegetarian, my vitamins have fish oil in them as well and I have got questions about that since I am a vegetarian. My answer is always the same, I take what I need to take for my baby.. it's not about just me now :)
I love the Gold Bond Daily Moisturizing lotion. I agree that the pump isn't the greatest. I have a small rubbermaid container that I put my lotion in. Towards the end of the bottle of lotion the pump will no longer pump out product, so I take a sharp pocket knife and cut a large rectangle into the side of the bottle to get the rest of the lotion out. You would be surprised how much lotion the pump can't reach. But even with the extra work involved with using this lotion, I still love it and have been using it for a decade.
i loved your newborn essentials video. it was so so helpful. (the comments are turned off but i had to tell you) i am 20 weeks with my first baby and your videos are so informational and positive. thank you!!
I’m 13 weeks this is my first pregnancy and I wish I would have found this video in the beginning of my first trimester when I was nauseous constantly! I’ll have to remember this for next time!
I craved lemon anything in the first trimester, and apparently lemons and lemon-related things can help with morning sickness (like lemonade, straight lemons, lemon water, lemon italian ice [these are the BEST]). Ginger candies also help. Gin-Gins (the brand) offer chewy and hard candy versions. I preferred the hard candy, because the chewy was super gummy and stuck to my teeth (plus the texture really set off my stomach). I also have to add that (for me) body pillows did. Not. Work. Don't be surprised if they don't for you, either. I heard everyone sing their praises, but when I tried sleeping with one, it HURT. My hips were in so much pain. Eventually just a pillow between my legs worked. Even my midwife doubted, recommending I try the body pillow again. Don't be disappointed if they don't work for you. It's not that weird.
I am so glad I found you! I just found out I am pregnant a few days ago and I think I am only about 7 weeks along. I found your channel while browsing through baby and pregnancy videos. I can already tell your channel is going to be super helpful! 💕
Yeeesssss!!!! Liv you read my mind!!!! Because I am only 2.5 weeks behind you this pregnancy and am expecting my second baby/ also boy #2 this couldn't have come at a better time! Firstly you are everything mom goals! And second, we have been loving your content lately! Thanks for another fab video!
Love this I'm almost 10 weeks but I love how you went with the different trimesters and things you recommend for each it nice because I also have some ideas that I can use for later in my pregnancy 😊
For budget pre-natals, my doctor recommended Kirkland brand pre-natal vitamins. They have everything that the average North-American might be lacking on.
Cue high school musical “we’re all in this together” lmao. Your pregnancy videos are making me miss being pregnant (it will happen again in due time lol).
Girl no! That body pillow is not extra!! I’m 19 weeks and swear by mine!! I love it so much and it’s such a help getting to sleep. I wanna try the wedge!
I love that you did this video! So many of the things you use I use or have used as well! I’m gonna pick up those teas since I’ve never tried them before.
You are glowing 😍😍 been watching uour videos since you had christian and your videos have always helped me, motivate me to be a better mom to my 15 month baby girl❤️
There's a vegetarian omega 3, 6, 9 gummy. Also get your omegas from seeds and nuts. I'm pescatarian so I eat fish sometimes. But just a tip. I can't remember if it was from Amazon or Walmart.
Wow, thanks for sharing! I’ll definitely try the body pillow. My sister also swear by it. In my first pregnancy, I just used extra pillows around me and in between my knees. But I’ll try it on my second one.
I take pregnancy care and plan to take the breastfeeding ones after birth but they also have ones just for after postpartum incase you're not breastfeeding for hair and skin but the pregnancy ones have the main vitamins but there's another one for healthy brain and something else development and the mid-wives do say they're very good brand it has all the vitamins you'll need for you and baby but they say to make sure that it has iron, vitamin D and there's another one but double check with mid-wife or your doctor they'll tell you what vitamins and minerals you need and how much but there's plenty of really good brands out there!
Hiya, I just wanted to let other soon to be mommies know that they can find DHA Vitamins made with algae instead of fish oils, which algae is where the fishes get their Minerals. So you’re cutting out the middleman, just something I think is good for vegan and Vegetarian moms to know. That there are vegan friendly prenatals. Just hope that helps you find what’s right for you!
I just took a pregnancy test this morning. Line was so faint but could definitely tell it was there. I'm gonna wait a little bit to tell my husband because I want to make sure the lines get darker each test. I'm so nervous
I love the CeraVe moisturizing cream❤️❤️❤️ It's my fav on autoship from Amazon bc I cannot live without it. I'm keeping an eye out for that protein powder, it says sold out for now. Hopefully it'll restock. Love your videos so far, learned things I haven't from other momma channels ❤️
I got a pregnancy pillow which I haven't started using yet because it's still early, but I'm just like "where's my husband going to sleep?" Because it's huge and we have a queen size bed.
Did you have your baby?! 🤞 If not, consider whatever you're planning to bring, and only take a third of it. Aside from the obvious (toiletries/phone/charger), all you need is a pair of flip-flops for the shower, an outfit to go home in, snacks, and an extension cord/surge protector.
I'm new to all this and I found your video to be very informative and concise. Thank you, its going to help me a lot. BTW, love your jacket! Where did you get it?
I m pregnant and vegetarian so prenatal from vita true brand is vegan for people who are vegetarian/vegan .. it is a prescription prenatals so ask your doc to order it for you. Hope it’s helpful for someone 🤰
I just came across your video and I really enjoyed watching! Are you able to tell me the brand or link to your body pillow please? Your link isn’t working. Thank you! :)
At 8 weeks during my first pregnancy and this nausea is killer. Idk if I need to pass gas or get sick majority of the time and finding a comfortable position to rest is so difficult. My biggest worry is that with the nausea and vomiting I'm not eating enough...
The first trimester is so hard. I’m 18 weeks when I was at 8 I threw up every day all day, try sleeping on your left side at night. During the day take ginger tea or ginger gum. It’ll get better! You’ll catch up in eating on the second trimester you’ll be able to keep ur food down
@@luxxylucidd8840 leaving a powerade and some cheezits or crackers next to my bed when I go to sleep so I can take a drink in the morning and put something small in my belly. Helps kick start energy and hydration as well as help settle my stomach!
I know this is old, but Unisom at night and b6 supplements helps treat morning sickness. Some people can’t take unisom due to preexisting medical conditions, so talk with your doctor.
Congratulations to you and your family you look absolutely stunning beautiful gorgeous love your baby bump what brand of diapers are you going to use love Pampers and huggies
