Had a scheduled c section since my baby was in breech position. Slept all throughout the operation but had an intense post op recovery.. You got this! 🤗

Thanks for sharing your story. I can totally relate to this. I wish I could be a mom someday and the idea of going through pregnancy is okay for me, but I have a fear of giving birth. The fear intensified after attending a health-related training workshop almost a decade ago.

I delivered my first born through normal delivery and my second through c-section because I had pre-eclampsia. I consider both a miracle and if you decide to do it normal or ceasarian it will not make you less of a great mother! ❤

I just wanted to share. I had an emergency c-section. My original plan was to have natural birth, not medicated. My recovery was good. It’s painful but I thought it was worse. It’s just hard to take a shower. 😅 Right now, I can do anything. I don’t feel any pain. I can workout like nothing happened (already healed my diastasis recti). I am still exclusively breastfeeding my baby, now 2 years old but I had a hard time producing for first few days. Hopefully, yours will be good too. ❤

When i got pregnant when i was 19 i got so scared in giving birth normally, i prayed so hard “lord please cs section”. The day came - i was overdue OB SAID COS OF STRESS in overthinking, i had Emergency CS. NO ONE CAN JUDGE A MOTHER ON HOW THEY CHOOSE TO GIVE BIRTH. Its the same as breastfeed or not ❤ YOU DO YOU..

So happy for you 🫶🏻 Congrats and enjoy this journey including the pains before and after 😅 I had a Laparotomy which is like C-section last month and doing well now. I researched so much before the procedure for the post op care but you will never be ready since each body reacts differently like mine I had problems on bloating for 2 weeks. I know you have done all the research already as the winnie we know😅 I heard that moms who undergo c-section recover faster since they have a baby with them. You will mentally heal faster 💖💪🏼 (okay this is the longest comment I have typed in youtube 😂) P.S silent fan since way way back 🙈

I had scheduled c-section and it was easy. Pre op the nurse inserted foley catheter, then I went to OR and had anesthesia. Ambulation is important for recovery so I was walking the next day, 2 days post -op they'll take the staples out. The incision site will be numb for a year.

Advantage of natural labor is after that is you're good. Disadvantage of c section based on my mom and my sister is you're not going to suffer but it's the healing process, it's gonna take a little time to be back to normal life.hehe and for epidural, i thought it's painful but it's not, it's like you want the pain go away... hehe but either way it's okay... praying for your safe delivery and good health for you and for your baby...

A lot of women choose to give birth via C section kasi iniisip nila, ayaw nilang ma feel yung pain ng natural birth pero di nila naiisip yung long term effect ng c section. As a mom of two, I gave birth twice (normal delivery)...paglabas na paglabas ng baby, pooof! no more pain! Parang magic! 🤣 Kaya sa mga pregnant women, mas maigi na mag normal delivery kayo at hanggat maari (kung di naman kailangan) wag kayong magpa CS.😊 But, at the end of d day, choice parin ng bawat isa kung papaano sila manganganak.

37W pregnant and also due this march, what you shared is what I exactly experiencing specially the pelvic pain and theres these people who gave lots of unsolicited advise like walk etc .. I always feel tired and I'm just trying to survive day by day. I don't even had a gender reveal or baby shower or maternity shoot cause I don't have energy for it and don't feel comfortable with my appearance to be sorrounded by people. Pregnancy is miserable. I just look forward to finally be done and hold my baby 😂 Goodluck to us, Team March! Praying for our safe delivery ❤❤❤

I believe in “ your body your choice”. I feel bad that you got backlash from your decision (albeit advised by your OB) to do a scheduled C-section. I am sure he also educated you that the safest and best way is still vaginal delivery when possible and able. But as you said, your fear makes you unable to do it. There will be more fears on your motherhood journey and I pray you are able to overcome and be the best mother you can be. Enjoy this time when you are able to do what you “feel like doing”. When the baby comes, his/her needs will come first. Some parents are not prepared to give up themselves and their needs to that of their child and resentment, depression and isolation happens. I hear some resentment in your voice with all the negative symptoms you are describing and stating “you are done with this pregnancy”. Hope some positivity shines some rays of happiness into your world after baby is born. Wishing you a safe delivery and healthy baby.

Just want to make a comment here about getting the epidural anesthesia. I also had the biggest fear about it thinking that it was going to be so painful. BUT.. I recently had a surgery that entailed epidural anesthesia and it felt nothing! As in nothing. First, they will clean the area in your back, then they will insert the tiniest needle wherein you can feel the tiniest prick (literal kagat ng maliit na langgam), then the said area will go numb. So then they will insert the actual needle for the anesthesia which you will not feel AT ALL! Then in a matter of seconds, the anesthesia takes effect and you will start feeling numb. The numbness is like having the feeling that your entire lower extremity has disappeared. So yeah, for anyone who has to undergo epidural anesthesia, this is my personal experience.

Would like to know more about the “pregnancy grooming” like how do u do ur make-up, hair dye if u have info, gel nails if u do it before, eyelashes which uses chemical glues…. Are they ok 4 pregnancy?
@winniewong
@winniewong Год назад
The lesson I learned from this experience is to seek advice from a trustworthy doctor and to practice moderation in most things. It's crucial to understand your body as everyone reacts differently. Personally, I have continued to use the same makeup and refrained from purchasing new makeup, and continued to get my eyelashes done. However, I avoided hair dye and gel nails. Nevertheless, I am not an expert, and it's essential to seek professional guidance, pay attention to your body's reactions, and be cautious of the abundance of fear-mongering and misinformation found online. It's best to gather information and not believe everything found on the internet immediately. For instance, I trusted my OBGYN when he advised me that I could eat salmon sashimi during pregnancy. He has delivered multiple babies, including natural and C-section deliveries, and has studied medicine for years. On the other hand, I have only experienced one pregnancy.

I think each to his own, really. Some countries, you don't get to have a choice, it depends on the variables of your situation. Natural delivery was hard work for me, but recovered pretty quickly. I wouldn't complain if I was CS but didn't have the village to help me post op. All the best! Delivery is one thing but fourth trimester is a whole new world (yep, I started singing) 😂

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH C-SECTION. AS LONG AS THE BABY IS SAFE, HEALTHY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IN LINE WITH YOUR DOCTORS' OPINION. YOUR BODY, YOUR DECISION. AS ONE OF YOUR RIGHTS AS A PATIENT, YOUR BELIEFS, CHOICES SHOULD BE RECOGNISED AND RESPECTED.

As a doctor, C-section shouldn’t be normalize. Natural labor should occur.. Stated in OB williams book, there’s no such thing as “we’ll just have a C-section coz you feel comfortable with it”. C-section should warrant an indication, such as cervical dilatation arrest, failure of descent and so on..NEVER in the book mentioned, just because it feels comfortable. Babies born thru C-section may have breathing issues due to anesthesia effect.. I hope you’ll think about your choices, you should experience the process of giving birth because we get to experience giving miracle once or maybe twice in our lifetime...This is just my professional opinion, I hope you won’t get offended.

But she fears natural (normal) birth. You don’t know what she feels, it might affect the baby. If she’s informed, it’s fine. It’s her choice. It’s her pregnancy. She has the right to feel comfortable, right?

Yes same here in Australia! It’s not an option. There should be a reason for it. Your encouraged to deliver normal as possible. I didn’t know that you could just choose this method in Philippines regardless of your situation. Wow.

At first, I was hesitant to respond to this matter as I believed I had already explained my reasoning clearly in my video. However, I am taken aback by the numerous opinions that have surfaced regarding my decision and autonomy over my body. The way the comment was written implies that I made a hasty and thoughtless decision, when in fact, I explicitly mentioned in my video that I have a fear of giving birth. As someone with this fear, it would be irrational of me not to consult multiple professionals and give this decision a lot of careful thought. Additionally, I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, which exposed me to extensive knowledge about giving birth, infact I feel like being too informed has backfired. My OBGYN has not objected to my decision and has allowed me to proceed with it. While I do not wish to dispute your professional years of medical expertise, I trust my OBGYN, who has been practicing for over two decades and has worked on numerous c-sections and natural births. Opting not to have a "natural" birth does not diminish the "miracle" of pregnancy or the incredibly tiring experience of growing a human for nine months. Having a baby's head constantly banging on my cervix every two minutes with a slight chance that I might it might not even come out is not an appealing prospect to me.Thanks to advancements in technology, I am grateful to live in a country where I have the ability to make the best decision for my body.
