Definitely agree with what you guys said about Shia & Sunni interactions! People are filled with animosity against their own fellow Muslims and that's just not right :/ I'm Shia and the ignorant comments that I've gotten from people are just too many to count, on the other hand some of my closest friends are Sunni. In the end it comes down to a person's akhlaq and to having respect (Shias for Sunnis & Sunnis for Shias) because otherwise we'll only get weaker as an ummah and continue being exploited by others.

I'm a "SUSHI" 😂 I'm so grateful i was born in a mixed family as i was raised in a home with no hatred or bias. The Ummah really needs to learn to respect each other... its true if we all stuck together we would be unstoppable.

How timely! I actually just started a Gratitude habit last Nov 1! Today, I am grateful for being able to finally afford my chemotherapy session. It’s a week late, but hey, at least I’m tryna catch up! :) would’ve been a month (maybe), if not for the people who helped me. So I am thankful specifically for two people (my aunts) who have taken the burden to support me, since my mom decided she doesnt want anything to do with my treatment. Yes, I am over 18, but it is our culture to support the children (and not have them move out) so long as they’re not married off. Also, yes I’m still kinda young. XD On top of finally having my chemo, I’m grateful to have helped the homeless I passed by on the streets (I usually cook food for them when I know I need to go out soon, so I can give it to them as I pass by them, since I only walk to the hospital. It’s only 800m-1km anyway. XD) Overall, I am thankful for the people who stepped in to support me, even if they don’t have much themselves. I am also thankful for being able to eat everyday, no matter how simple my meals are. I am blessed enough that I can bless others. :) @pleaseleafmebe

I’m thankful for everything. Allah has blessed me with more than I could ever ask for. As a kid growing up in America, I was always shying away from religion, being a ashamed to let ppl know I was Turkish and Muslim. As I got older, becoming a teenager, I’ve learned to not care what ppl think and even started wearing hijab just recently elhamdulillah ! This has also helped me in where I am in my life , I grew up in a small apartment that looked like a dump on the inside and out, I have to share a bedroom with my parents and even have a bunk bed with my dad. I’ve learned that it could be worse, I learned that other ppl may not even have a house or food , or even parents. I’m so beyond thankful that Allah has guided me and blessed me with the right path in life , allowing me to see that materialistic items don’t rlly matter, allowing me to struggle with hardship and then blessing me with something beyond my imagination, elhamdulillah my family just purchased our brand new first home!!!! Although this may just seem martialistic, the things in my life have shown me perspectives on life shaping me to the person I am today. I am thankful that I have learned and have come to respect that women wear their hijab out of pride and respect for their Muslim culture and not because they are forced to wear it. I always thought that Muslim women were subservient and am embarrassed now for my narrow mindedness. 6 months ago i've got diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, i was so Trumataized, sad and sick. For many days I wasn't able to talk or even walk to the bathroom.
