Pregnancy Yoga and Natural Birth Preparation Exercises. These are the prenatal yoga and pregnancy exercises that I did daily to prepare for natural birth. I had 3 positive birth experiences with relatively easy and fast pushing and recovery. We are going to open up the hips and pelvis, build strength and endurance and prepare your core and pelvic floor for faster and effective pushing.

Wanted to thank you for all these wonderful videos. I completed all your videos leading up to the birth of my son and it went wonderfully! My water broke spontaneously on April 12, 2021 at 3:30PM and my son was born on April 13th at 8:30AM. I was pain free all the way through and I pushed him out using the "J" breath and making vowel sounds! It was awesome! Thanks again!

Loving these videos! I have been doing them throughout my pregnancy. They have been a really nice option during Covid since I haven't been able to go to live classes. Now I am 11 days from my due date and feeling more prepared. Thank you!

Thank you so incredibly much for all you put out here for mamas! I am a first time mom due in February and this video was fantastic! As I laid down for shavasana, I was immediately brought to tears of joy and the words "it's going to be okay" came into mind. I am really trying to prepare my body/mind/spirit and have a beautiful natural first labor and this made me feel more ready than I have ever been. @@sakuraesther6309 unfortuntely wasn’t an easy labor at 41 weeks. However it was worth it to workout this much during pregnancy because my body healed superfast afterwards and I managed to keep my prepregnancy figure (breastfeeding burns a lot of calories😅)

You are the best! Tried other yoga for pregnancy but they were all really complicated and for people who having been doing yoga before they got pregnant. I was taking online classes from 9 - 5 so I was having to sit for long periods at a time. ru-vid.comUgkxEhgucmXpcAGYh8fatGFEnOK2V97VIwhG After the first day in a regular table chair, I thought about an exercise ball and ordered one that night. It came the next day! My hips, legs, back and butt couldn't have been happier! I'm almost 5'11" and I ordered the largest size and it was perfect for me. I also have RLS (restless legs) and this helped so much.Pumping it up was a little challenging and definitely gives you a good arm workout, (I'm a 62 yo woman) but it's very doable. Getting the tape centered with the hole to inflate it and then getting the pin back in was also a little tricky. But I love my new "chair" and I love the torquiose color. Hopefully it will also get used for exercise. 😁

I'm due to give birth next month, and I am determined to have an unmedicated vaginal birth. I was doing yoga before I got pregnant and early on, but they found a subchorionic hematoma around 8 weeks and so I was scared of risking injury. The whole time, I was scared to start back doing prenatal yoga and just started again a few days ago, practicing alongside these videos every day. I'm nervous that I've started back too late as I am 33.5 weeks, but I am manifesting a healthy delivery. Thank you for posting these

Wow I loved this X I started tearing up on the last position X pregnancy hormone attack but also so relieved feeling hear someone talk about labour in a relaxing and enjoyable way xxx there so much fear mungering about labour and this is my first baby so I'm super nervous. Courtney Matchett You can do it! Most of the moms in my prenatal classes had natural births and many at home :) I’ll keep making more :) A lot of these exercises are also in my other prenatal yoga and fitness videos as well as I’m always focussing on labor prep :)

Was excersing this routine almost everyday during ma last month of pregnancy (with higher repetition of some of them) as well as I was practicing Jessica's other prenatal videos since my fifth month and I am pretty sure that it is also thanks to those that I could handle my labor and birthing in 2 hours duration. I just highly recommend your prenatal videos and labor prep videos as well. Looking after my practicing of postnatal ones 😊👌 Thank you and keep that great job up Jessica ❤️ Bless you

I'm in my 28 week today. I love all your videos and posts, especially workouts! My goal is to be fit and active until the end of mybpregnancy (end beyond😉) so that I am prepared as well as I can be for natural birth! It's a challenge, espicially in this crazy corona times and being a first time mom, but I can do it! I just did this video at 38 weeks. My midwife told me just over a week ago my baby's head had engaged .. I have been very active with excercizes and doing your yoga videos regularly throughout my pregnancy.. normally I am fine with lunges and the yogi squat but this time I really struggled - I had a intense sensation of pressure (on the verge between being uncomfortable to being painful) in my pelvis. Does this mean I should stop doing these moves because the baby is too heavy or is my cervix too weak and I should practice them more?

Hi Jessica! :) I have been following exercises from your channel throughout my pregnancy... Kept choosing different ones for different months/trimesters depending what I felt most comfortable with at that time. Right now I'm 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant and I'm switching between this and the one you have made for strength and endurance. Planning to include the one for induction starting the end of this week. No matter when the baby comes and how, you have helped me feel strong and capable the whole time, thank you so much! Thank you very much for this video. I'm at the start of my 3rd trimester, FTM, I am finding that because of lockdown I struggle more with strengthening exercises. Would you mind doing a video, routine on safe 3rd trimester strength exercises for the legs? Please. Specifically inner thighs! They've been getting less tonned by the minute!! Cheers

Hi Monica! That's a great suggestion! I'll start working on one. I plan my content a few weeks in advance, but I'll see how quickly I can get it out (hopefully before you have your baby!) Could you do a video on prolapse? A lot of mothers end up with prolapse issues and it is seriously swept under the carpet and no one seems to want to discus this issues. Prolapse is a life long problem and even surgery doesn’t always help or it causes more issues. Women need to be aware of all risks when it comes to pregnancy and taking care of their pregnant and postpartum bodies. If anyone is readin this and is pregnant or wants to get pregnant PLEASE do your research on how to prevent pelvic organ prolapse you will be thankful for it please, I don’t want anyone to suffer the way I have . At 23 years old after my first baby I developed prolapses and it has been devastating for me

Thanks for this video. been wanting this since I really want to have a natural birth for my baby in 3 months time. However, I got a hemorrhoid during my first trimester. Is the squat position still advisable? or what position should I do instead?

Loving this exercise! Can you provide the exercise video to optimize the position of the baby? I'm currently 24 weeks and my twins still on horizontal position, I'm trying to turn them to anterior position.... thank you! :)

Did they end up turning naturally on their own, or did you work on positioning? I think my baby is going back and forth from horizontal to head down, even though at 32 weeks routine check-up he/she was head down in the perfect position.

Hello Jessica! I have this video marked to do tomorrow, and I’m just wondering what timing you recommend for these birth prep videos? I’m almost 30 weeks, and want to be ready for birth, but I also really enjoy regular sculpting, cardio, etc. Should I be doing these a couple times a week at this point, and more as I get closer? It’s never too early to start the birth prep ones. I would occasionally add them in now and then increase how often. It’s helpful to regularly include them by third trimester:)

Thanks you so much for your videos. I am a first time mum to be 29th weeks pregnant. I was preparing myself for natural birth, as it's what I've always wanted, but I have recently been diagnosed with Cholestasis (ICP), and my worries and concerns to have an induced and medical labour have increased :( Do you think Natural Birth is compatible with ICP? Hi Jessica, I have been doing your workouts (cardio, hiit, tabata barre) and yoga exercises throughout the second trimester (once I stopped being constantly nauseous!). I can see that there are a few videos on your channel that are with exercises specific to prepare for labour. Do you recommend I switch to these now or later in pregnancy, and for now continue with the other ones? I am currently 29 weeks pregnant.

Do any of these exercises help prevent perineal tearing? I’ve heard about a few yoga positions to practice to strength that area but I’m not 100% which ones or if they work.

Are these ok to practice at 21 weeks? I think I had Braxton Hick contractions right after I finished my session. I'm feeling ok now but it really freaked me out. Felt like strong period cramping.
