There is a creature even the mighty whales fear, a beast with the largest teeth of all time. Today we breakdown the incredible Livyatan. 00:00 Narration 05:16 Breakdown
Moby Dick is fictional. Though the inspiration behind him is a real one. You can search "Mocha Dick"; he was a white bull sperm whale with 21 meters long in size. His first sighting was in 1910s and his final battle before he died was in 1938 cause he was trying to save a female sperm whale because her calf had just been killed. He was a real gangster cause whaler always failed to hunt him down for decades, leading him to have like... 19 harpoons on his back. Was a total badass if you ask me.
If they hunted in pods I would give it to the Livyatan, but if they hunted solo its a fair 50/50 matchup and depending who gets the first bite in, in that case I would give it to the Megalodon because the Livyatan would have to at some point come up for air, this would make it more vulnerable to an attack from below. But I would assume their relationship would be like that of modern day great whites and orcas, both would try to avoid each other.
true, but being a sperm whale they could probbaly do a loooong time without breathing... and the shark would need to be moving forward constantly for breathing.... liviathan could hinder it or push it backwards/downwards, add to that that a sharks gills are very vulnerable to a point a human could defend itself against a great white ( 20 times it's weight) by punching it's nose or gills! I guess liviathan and Megalodon generally avoided eachother.
Well, what is the ratio of win in 1 vs 1 great white shark and killer whale, the same would be in a 1 vs 1 fight of livyatan vs megladon, unless one of them does not hunt in packs
