when the racing post had Gabby on about 4 or 5 years ago on their tipping football show for the following season ...... about 2 weeks before the start......they asked him for a value pick to be in top 10 and he went for Southampton....later on, they asked him for his value tip for relegation he tipped Southampton again....funny thing they didn't finish top 10 but were not relegated either
Ex footballers need to stop the "they didn't play the game" narrative. You've never cooked professionally but you'd be the first to complain if you think food in a restaurant isn't up to par.
Im a Manchester City fan but even I'll say that Mark is a real, devout United fan. I dont understand how people think he's fake or he supports Forest secretly. You really think he does all of the stuff he does for nothing? Come on.
If he's a fake fan, he deserves an Oscar. I've seen him nearly pop a blood vessel during the many watch-alongs. He gets more riled up than I do and I get riled up to the point my wife storms out of the room.
He is in fact a Forest fan. Used to be a policeman and an actor. His channel is in fact him acting and making a very good living out of it. Be aware it like most You Tube channels is entertainment not news.
This is so pathetic. Agbonlahor is honestly so sad and pathetic, it's laughable. Droopy has moaned about Goldbridge using a pseudonym before, as if it's something conspiratorial. Goldbridge actually started using that name because he was still working for the police when he started YouTubing and had to assume an alias for legal reasons. He couldn't use his real name at that time. The funny thing is, Droopy started this beef because he didn't like one of Goldbridge's opinions about Erling Haaland. He tried to ambush Goldbridge when he was invited on Alan Brazil's morning show on talkSPORT, which Mr Droopy was co-hosting. Droopy also embarrassingly brought up Goldbridge being an alias during that chat for no reason whatsoever. It was a shameful and cringeworthy attack. Now Droopy is holding a grudge because Goldbridge has had a go back at him on his podcast, which he was well within his rights to do. Droopy did the same thing with Klopp. He was talking so much rubbish about Klopp on talkSPORT a few years ago that Klopp called out Droopy in one of his press conferences shortly thereafter. Droopy has had it in for Klopp ever since, regularly going in on him at talkSPORT. It's like Droopy does not possess even enough intelligence to remember the fact that he's the one starting these beefs in the first place! On another note, my Dad supports Liverpool and that's why I supported them as a kid and still do. We have never lived in Liverpool. According to Droopy's 'logic', I can't support them though because I don't live there. It also must mean that any fan who lives in the city of the team they support will not be allowed to support them any longer if they decide to move away and live somewhere else, according to Droopy's brainless rules. Droopy has the mental faculties of a 12 year old. Embarrassing guest, not helping your podcast whatsoever.
This whole agenda that Goldbridge is some fake artificial parasite who wants to make money off of spreading lies and being "toxic" (whatever that means anymore) is such bullshit. He's just a fan, who has his own (sometimes a bit silly) opinions and speaks his mind. That's it. People just can't seem to fathom that someone with a following that large can be genuine and honest just like the rest of us.
Yep, he's more real than any of these ex players or media people who have all had media training and that's why they'll never understand it, they've always been taught that you have to act a certain way when you're being recorded
So true. Agbonlahor is an absolute embarrassment to himself, why any media outlet would give him a platform to spew his brainless and child-like rubbish is beyond me. Another example of society rewarding idiocy.
Gabby Agbonlahor was caught cheering when Martin O'Neil left Aston Villa despite Martin getting them to their highest finish and touching champions league football because ..... he trained him too hard .... That sums the guy up.
“I’ve played the game” crew lol get over it mark has more ball knowledge than you, it’s not only mark most fans of different teams call you out for your shit spouting on talk sports 😂😂
Mark literally always says “I’ve played the game” with a stupid Irish accent all the time, so he’s part of that crew you’re making fun of as well. Mark has little ball knowledge.
@@ec7001 you are actually ignorant because, when he says that "I've played the game", he is clearly mimicking someone who says that (Graeme Sounness). Mark disagrees with the statement 💯. This is how people spread lies when they actually know nothing.
@@Woze899most players don't have any meaningful football knowledge either, they just have more insight on what it's like being in that bubble and that can actually have an adverse affect on their knowledge of football, it's a simple game after all
I was born in Manchester but live in Ireland since I was 2, what he said about Mark being from Nothingham and that he's not an actual supporter of United is total sh!t, if that were the case, the Premier league would be no good, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man city, all have fans abroad and around different parts of the UK.
@@villatrinity3518 well if you think so, but it's the same logic for any club, there's loads of fans born elsewhere in the UK who support other clubs rather than their local, doesn't make them less of a fan. I was born in Manchester, but being abroad, the first club I heard of was Manchester united.
@Unknownpersonmr it does in the eyes of fans who are local. It just doesn't make sense to bypass say a dozen London clubs to support a team 200 miles away! Every home game is an away game! I'll never understand the logic other than it's shameless glory hunting. You were born in Manchester so fair play.
It's good to stay in shape. But this comment had a bit too much feminine sassy passive aggressive energy 😂 But not surprised. A lot of football fans have this feminine energy when you get past the tough exterior smh
Mark is the most toxic person in the football space. He constantly says he isn’t negative but then he goes on a 50 minute rant about Rashford in a negative passive aggressive way or tries to divide English fans and his international fan base.
Mark's interviewed Giggs, he used to interview Ince regularly and does weekly videos with Ben Foster. He doesn't need to "tweak" anything to get ex-players involved.
YNWA ❤ I’m from London but never liked Arsenal or wanted to support Arsenal. Liverpool was my favourite even though we weren’t winning PL during 90’s or 2000 era until Klopp
I'm from Ireland please don't tell me I have to support an Irish league team 😢and stop supporting Manchester United, although the football might be better at the minute
@@JY-ev5msI'm obviously not Polish but let's be honest Liverpool haven't had the best chance of winning anything since the 80s. I'm mates with a lot of Polish people, mainly from work and the gym and stuff and tbh they just slot right in with scousers culturally. I'd probably say British as a whole really. At the end of the day if they get the culture of the club and the city/town the teams from then I don't see a problem. Mike Tyson is my favourite boxer of all time but he's a yank. I'm from Liverpool so I support Liverpool but I kinda support Rangers too just because I'm mates with a few lads from Glasgow and they support Rangers. Plus I hate them IRA nonces at Celtic. I just don't agree with rattling kids on a moralistic level. I know some people like it but I'm personally against it, so I support Rangers. Liverpool and Glasgow are similar though. My son's from Manchester and he supports Liverpool because of me. There's loads of reasons people support different clubs. As I say so long as they get it then they're not bad fans.
Yes. Support your local team. It's funny how there's 92 teams in the top 4 divisions in England and you happen to support one of the most successful teams...
Trying to gain views by slagging someone else who is popular is such a d*ck move. And this thing about being a fan if you're not from the area, I have been a Man united fan since I was a kid when I used to watch MUTV and I'm from Nepal. I watched every game online even during midnight and 2 am for champions league games when I had classes the next morning and still do that when I have work the next day. Nobody has any right to tell me that I'm not a fan or I can't be one.
Goldbridge is a comedian, 50% of his subscribers are rival fans ,they are there for the laughs... He talks shit, like he has 80% shares in Manchester United.
Agbonlahor is not only an abysmal footballer but his attitude, his mentality, and his heart are broken That is why this kind of footballer will never ever be great footballers.
I'll never understand why people say things like "especially when they haven't played the game" in regards to someone's opinion. Some of the best players become the worst managers, just because you played the game doesn't mean you're good at analyzing the game.
He is a Man Utd fan. He does know what he is talking about. And being an ex-pro does not give you a God given right to be the sole authority on football. Ex-pros are generally lazy in their analysis and do not study games, circumstances or individual club situations as much as RU-vidrs.
Scandinavian television started showing live First Division games in 1969 (Sweden, Norway and Denmark) My grandad was a Manchester United supporter as was my dad, now it's me and my son! I've been to Old Trafford 5 times with my dad and now i take my son at least once per year! Id take him more, but the wife wants to go to Spain once in awhile! ;)
I can't even listen to him , 60 seconds in and I'm signing out. I'm off to the united stand to listen to Mark talk for hours. Been following mark for years. Rather listen to him than actually commentators
So if Gabby meets someone from Outside the UK who supports Villa is he going to knock them , if it’s a you’ve never played the game then why does he work for a call in sports show ….
3:00 to answer your questions, no he’s not fake, yes he really does support man united and he’s addressed this whole ‘born in Nottingham/must be a forest fan‘ thing before if you’d bothered to listen instead of only believing what his trolls say
a poor comment from the host basically saying especially as you’ve played at the top level goldbridge shouldn’t be hammering you. Basically saying that all opinions from pros are automatically valid then. everyone has the right to at least criticise people
Goldbridge is a RU-vidr and a really good actor! His opinions are that of a fan like you are me …. he has NO real insight into the club or any contacts. In fact, he is afraid to go to Old Trafford …. why?? 😂 Hasn’t been there for years!!!
@@d-law868 Nope. I watched him for a good while. He has a my way or the highway approach. If you don’t agree with him then he bans you from commenting. I got banned for saying Ten Hag OUT. Thousands have been banned. I guess you are one of his little sheep 🐑 that agrees with. 99% of what he says…
@@BrentDesouza nope I don’t agree but I usually don’t comment either The banning issue is more a RU-vid guideline I assume since if no banning exist you willl see so much abuse further down the line between TH outers and inners
My neighbour growing up in Middlesbrough was the black sheep and a huge United fan we'd hammer him for not supporting boro but he was an ardent red.. He's a season ticket holder whilst working as a security guard for reporters in conflict abroad so may only get to handful of games but still pays his subscription and passes his ticket out weekly to friends in the north East. I remenber the treble win in 99 and walking into the street after he was on his knees thanking the lord.. I've lived in Manchester 10 years and no plenty of fans born and bread who aren't half as passionate or have the knowledge of the club my mate has.. Does that make him any less of fan? And in the same breath does it make them any less for not knowing what he does.. No is the answer
Mark Goldbridge was never a united fan. He only supported united to rinse united fans for his RU-vid channel. He only says things to clickbait his followers too and everyone buys into it. He’s got you all hooked
I am sorry, but this is one of the most idiotic comments I have ever red. I trust you are not United supporter because you clearly don't understand what that means. Mark speaks for me because he is passionate, he understands the history, the lagacy and what high standards are. He would never understood that without feeling it. And when you feel it you are a fan. Believe me I would be fumming even more but English is not my native. Which points me to another thing. He is far more articluate than someone like Agbonlahor. He is also way more intelligent than him. I may not agree with everything what Mark say, but the passion is there. And to say he is not a United supporter just levels you down to the nut I mentioned. Or worse you are also both jealous.
If the only people who can speak about football publicly, are the ones who've played the game professionally. That's a very small pool of people, relative to the population. If that's the case, we should all just stop watching the game and talking about it altogether. Or maybe, we should allow everyone to talk about the game we love, and if someone's platform grows as a result. It's maybe because they value what that person has to say.
Tbf to Gabby, he seems actually quite relaxed and chill. At the end of the day both him and mark are entertainers. A young audience would probably be bored / not tune into either of them if they weren’t making outrageous claims or raving and ranting during a livestream. For me, I would love for them to have a sit down talk in this similar format
If you use the logic of you had to play the game...then if you follow that to it's inevitable conclusion, that within those that played the game, the best players should therefore make the best managers, then Maradona should have been the all conquering greatest manager of all time, likewise Zidane should not be out of work...José Mourinho a bit part manager, Guardiola was a water carrier, Ferguson only played in Scotland, Wenger only a handful of games, Clough never broke out of the second division etc etc they should only expect mediocre success..it makes no sense.
