Am I correct in saying this still doesn't actually give a small sized transparent video in the end? This works, but how do you render it out again, transparently?
Yeah okay but now if I'd want to export the luma matted mp4 into animation with alpha it bulks up in size again soooo? What's the point of this tutorial?
I was hoping this would work for something like streaming, but this only provides the transparency INSIDE of adobe premiere pro, and no where else. Trying to find a solution for an exported video with transparency that can be used in something like OBS or streaming software. Current .mov file ends up being 310mb and stutters during playback on stream...
i've done the first part of the tutorial, you have to export it 3 different ways, and keep pulling the new files in to make it small? how many times do yo have to export a file to make it be transparent and compressed, 4?
After adding the Track Matte Key effect, and I am trying to export the video on which this effect is applied is invisible. I exported it in H.264 format
i have a 2 second transition animation to use in OBS transitions. Normal way of exporting it makes the file 150+ MB. When i do it like this it goes down to 50MB. Still too much filesize just for an OBS transition. MP4 should support transparency. Also i watched a video where you export as Quicktime format and with "Animation" preset. I do have "Animated GIF" option but not "Animation". I will try this "Animation" exporting technique. I have Premiere Pro 2020. I will upgrade to 2023 and see it that has the preset in it.
You are brilliant!!!!! Seriously SPECTACULAR!!! So much so that I am over using punctuation. I have been trying to figure this out for a couple years. Finally, RU-vid did the smart thing and gave me your video as an option to my never ending question of why doesn't this work right and why the files have to be so big and why why why. I love you so much. So many tears and so much wasted time and you explained it in less than 10 minutes.
