Nice! I got the Caroma E66 Pro. I still need to do a range test on it but i definitely dont expect much with the 7.8 Amp battery but it is a nice scooter and it looks pretty premium for its price. 😎👊
Yah I was blown away by the 17mi range I was able to get. Pretty impressive for a budget minded scooter. They just need to tame down that button noise haha. Doubles as a horn.
Yah I had to get something lighter in color for the blazing sun. It’s also 1.5lbs lighter than my O’Neal helmet. Also a huge improvement in aerodynamics. I can feel the difference big time beyond 20mph.
A really nice review as always! I was pleasantly surprised by the lighting set up and the controls. I'm not a big fan of the handlebar engineering or the fact that the suspension spring isn't adjustable, as that could go a long way to maximizing the advantage to that feature.
Thank you! The lighting is definitely a nice touch, especially for catching the attention of car drivers at night who may be daydreaming or watching Netflix while driving haha. Softening up the suspension a bit would be perfect for this scooter. The solid wheels took getting used to but after a few miles you kind of get a feel for it and have an idea of what kind of bumps to avoid.
Actually ordered this scooter and while in route I found a review where a design flaw was pointed out it talks about the Stem Hook and how it’s made of cheap plastic the stem hook is a little plastic piece that the Stem Hooks too to latch it for riding! If that breaks then the scooter is useless and I didn’t want to deal with that piece breaking and then trying to get a replacement part. But perhaps with careful handling you could have years of enjoyment perhaps
How big of a deal is that stem hook because I’m looking to get one because my previous scooter was a Emove cruiser and that one I had the back tire keep deflating because of a design flaw.
Fine review, thanks. Is it water-resistant? Like say, riding in the rain or going through a puddle... Any apps you recommend for an odometer function as it doesn't appear to have that?
Thank you! So one app I use is called Speedometer. It tracks speed as well as distance travelled. The free version has some ads at the bottom. In terms of water resistance, none of the documentation alludes to any IP rating. I have a question out to the company about it and will let you know as soon as I hear back.
They responded and let me know it's IP4 water-resistant, meaning it can withstand light splashes. You want to ensure the battery charging port door is fully closed before venturing off in small puddles.
