In this video, I share all about peeping for my first art market as a professional illustrator. As many of you know, I love going to art markets to visit, but I don't get to participate as a seller often. This time around I share my experience, and maybe help you a bit to understand how to prepare.
A few weeks ago I participated in the Illustrada festival art market in Tilburg, The Netherlands. It's a city a few hours away from Amsterdam where I live. It was a great experience, and I hope it can inspire and help organize your art market prep. Let me know below your experience with the art markets and fairs, both visiting and selling!

Hadn't realized how much I've missed your videos until I saw this one. I'm now planning on purchasing one of your prints, but the top three rows appear blank. (Though some show up in you click on them.) Don't know if it's me or the site, but figured I should mention it. Love your artwork.

@@AsiaOrlando I've tried Safari on Mac using different User Agents, but they still don't show up, but with my iPad, it works fine. Who knows. Tech at its ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Still haven't decided on which print I like most, though I know my mother would love the Endangered Owls one, because she loves owls.

Hey! I just discovered your channel and I am also interested in developing my self as an Illustrator. Your videos are really usefull I love them! I binge watch them :) I am living in the Netherlands since recently and maybe I am coming with this information a bit late, but I know about 2 creative markets which are SWAN Market - they have an online shop and they regularly make Creative Market days around the Netherlands and Belgium. another one is in Amsterdam - Makers Market - in De Hallen they have space. I love these kind of markets and I go anytime I have a chance, there are a lot of visitors and different creatives selling things from prints and jewelry to natural soaps and organic food products and other stuff. So you can check them out. I hope this is useful to you!

I missed your videos! 🤍 I’m a market goer haha this year I’ve been in a lot of them buttttt not illustration/art related, just a lot of different stuff. I sell handmade notebooks (hand binded?) by myself and some other products with my art on it 🥰

Thank you so much Nicole :) I had a lot of fun at this one, I’ll probably go to more in the future, but I’ll pack a bit lighter next time🌳 I know that many artists and creatives often attend the art fairs and it’s a significant part of their business, I love that you have hand binded notebooks!:)
