Hey Matt, some info... - landing light : when gear up, we put the 2 lights RETRACTABLES in RETRACT position, then Runway turnoff and taxi off. - when passing FL100 or more, engine selector going on OFF position from the CONT position - when MINIMUM calling on final, you will only say "continue" when you've not the runway inside before, if you advise your first off during the long final "runway in side" and he answer by "runway in side", you can overpass the MINIMUM calling, it's only when you don't say "runway in side" or "airfield in side" before. Keep the good work! Alex
I remember your video of this same flight in the aersoft scarebus back a while ago. It was one of the first flight sim videos i ever watched and that river visual was what got me to buy A sim and fly. This video brought back memories, thanks
+AnoyyingOnion Matt, if it's any consolation, I found out about the new preferred reroute about 5 minutes before I jumped on BOS_DEL. Thanks for the video, we don't always get to hear ourselves back!
Great video as always Matt. Thanks for sharing. Love the new music in the cruise. Glad you're enjoying the new pedals. I'm tempted myself. Don't apologize for the barely noticeable bounce. Was a great landing. My Airbus landings. Now THOSE require an apology :p Thanks for the hard work. Keep 'em coming!
Matt, Glad to see you included a flight from my home city of Boston. Nice one. I've taken that flight a few times. Unfortunately after 9/11 Reagan Airport (DCA) was closed due to security and it' close proximity to Washington DC. Just one note on your flight to DCA (Reagan). The approach to Reagan is done is a very specific way due to very strict security measures put in place by the FAA. DCA's location in the DC area means that the runways/airport is in very close to the US Capital Building (congress/Senate), Washington Monument, Lincoln Monument and of course the White House. All pilots entering a flight plan to Regain have to follow very strict approach protocols. You decided to remove some way points around the 7K ft altitude. In real life if you didn't stick with the original flight plan you would have been met by 2 F16 fighter jets until you landed. A great job all around. Keep up the great videos!
Nice view and fitting music at 33:13 then smooth transition to the cockpit with background music then checks out the right side for another awesome view very cool MR MATT cheers. Ps while you bounced on landing just think a real 737 probably had a bouncy landing somewhere in the world the same time :)
The network parse errors are something that is affecting alot of vpilot users, but it's not at your end and usually will stop after 4 or 5 messages in a row, as developer Ross Carlson states: "the issue isn't on your end. It's on the sending end. What you're seeing are the position data packets that every pilot client sends out every 5 seconds. In your example, they are coming from MTN2516. His copy of vPilot is sending invalid position packets. Something on his end is causing the longitude value to appear as "nan", which means "not a number". So something on his end is resulting in invalid longitude values. When these invalid position data packets are sent out to the server from MTN2516's vPilot, the server then rebroadcasts them to all pilots and controllers within range, and when your copy of vPilot sees "nan" as the longitude value, it throws out that parse error. "I will be releasing an update of vPilot soon that will eliminate these malformed position packets so nobody will get these syntax errors anymore. "For now, you can just ignore them. You do not have to disconnect. (Disconnecting doesn't stop the bad packets from being sent, since you aren't the one sending them to begin with. Disconnecting just prevents you from receiving them.) They normally stop after 4 or 5."
You could turn the sound of vPilot down to stop making that beeping noise. It doesn't turn down the ATC within P3D. To do that you must use the sound mixer in Windows in the bottom right.
Hey Matt, love your vids! Can you do a video on one of the four daily Ryanair flights between Amsterdam Schiphol and Dublin. Apparently it is one of the best performing routes in Ryanair's network, based on load factor. Would be lovely to see you fly in or out of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport for the first time on your channel!
Hi Matt, Hope your well! I just wanted to say that I love all your videos! Keep them up! I hope your well and despite all the other people being ''rude'' if you will, I really enjoy all your videos especially the shared cockpits with Paul. I can't wait till the next video and I always enjoy your Livestreams over on Twitch. I thoroughly enjoy your Videos & Livestreams and you have been a great inspiration for me !
I notice you fly a lot in Europe, which is cool though I do not know their regulations just yet, but I wanted to point out that in the US the speed limit is 250 knots below 10,000'... and in DC that would have been an expensive fine and your license would likely be in jeopardy... (Had to be that guy giving you s**t). Love the vids, man! Keep 'em coming!!
Hi Matt! Magnificient video! Maybe I've missed it before but could you just tell me what kind of traffic addon you're using when you're not flying on vatsim? Thank you! Cheers from Hungary!
You use rudder peddles to taxi? I keep a joystick next to my yoke and only have the twisting axis as the rudder and then you have an instant nose steering till!
Hey Matt, I love your videos, and I was wondering if you could do a video on the FMC? Like how to put in the routes and all. I've watched some other ones but I know if you make it it'll be better. Also, what are the specs of your PC?
Hi Matt!As always, a very good and entertaining video! May I ask you, which AI traffic product you use, and which client to connect to VATSIM? I guess it's vPilot. Did the model matching work flawlessly? Thanks in advance and greets from Germany,Michael
hey matt how do u download p3d? and how do you get it looking that nice mate? my brother loves p3d and he wants to have the realist expericance possible.!
Ok can someone help me. So on the chill blast PC’s website it says all the prices in pounds....i think. Anyways when I use a converter I found on the internet to covert it to dollars it says that it’s 31,000 dollars? Can someone clarify if that is the true price in American Dollats BTW? Thanks
Hi mate, Cracking vid (yet again) - I'm getting to grips with the Aerosoft A319-IAE. Done a few EGNM-GCRR (LBA-Lanzarote), any chance of having a look into it? Cheers.
This video appears very black and dark to me. As in the outside view all I can see if the tail and everything else is just black. Anyone know if this is my settings or the video? I have had this a few times. Thanks
Yo Matt, I was wondering if you want to do a joint cockpit on ifly 737 or aerosoft x on my favorite route KIAD to KBZN. I have Flightbeams KIAD and ORBX Bozeman.
