In this episode, I had the opportunity to work with Enzo, a very promising junior with excellent instinct.
Today, we focused on preparing the body position, footwork and court position early in order to be ready to play the right shot in plenty of time. We also analysed how to cut down the opponent’s angle, pull them out of court position and the importance of attacking the net at speed to put away volleys.
We put this into action across a series of rallies practising each area, with Enzo ending the session putting all these elements together in one rally - which he won!
