This is Patrick Mouratoglou, the founder of the Mouratoglou Academy. You might know me as the Coach of Serena. Or maybe you've been following my tennis tips on Instagram and want to see more!
You're at the right place.
I decided to join RU-vid so that you can experience my tennis lessons as if you were there. I’ll be uploading immersive coaching sessions with players of all ages and levels, which are full of tips you can apply to YOUR GAME. I’ll also share with you some technical and tactical analysis from the world’s best tennis players and my input on what’s going on in the tennis world right now.
Love your video’s! You mention to let the hand go first and let your body follow. At the moment I struggle a bit with proper hip rotation. Although this exercise lets me do a lot of things better, I still fail to get good hip rotation. Do you think this exercise should lead to better hip rotation or do you use separate exercises for that?
The heavy dependence of power on physical strength and size is obvious for everyone to see in the likes of Sabalenka and the Williams sisters. Yes there are other things that matter significantly, but without nature's help, there is a hard ceiling no one can possibly beat.
Unfortunately, I only started playing tennis when I was 37. Your videos help me so much to be able to play modern tennis. Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge with us.🙏🙏
I've seen a few coaching videos (and slow mo pro serves) where they still pronate and rotate their arms when hitting slice. Basically what he was trying to do at the start of the video. What do u think abt that Patrick?
