America is currently plagued by the hydra-headed evil duo of inflation and recession. The worst part about this recession is that consumers are racking up credit card debt. In April alone, credit card debt went up 20% while rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so high that consumers are literally taking debt for basic life necessities. Collapse has indeed begun..

Every day we have a new problem. It's the new normal. At first we thought it was a crisis, now we know it's a new normal and we have to adapt. this year will be a year of severe economic pain all over the nation.. what steps can we take to generate more income during quantitative adjustment?I can't afford my hard-earned 180k savings to turn to dust

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

You cannot cut your way out of recession you've got to invest your way out of recession, the Conservative party are in the dark ages on policy they've got to think again. A strategy to protect against inflation is through the U.S stock market, especially the S&P500 & various ETFs. Investors must know where to put their money and how to distribute it in order to protect it against inflation while still making a profit, especially during a recession.

The truth is that people are finally waking up to the fact that our systems are breaking down in thousands of different ways all around us. Personally, the financial market seems like the only way to go with my long-term horizon (accumulated about £557,000 in earnings since May 2021), but if you don't have that time luck, it's a tough market out there down almost nowhere feels safe!

Since the middle of last year, the market has made it difficult for me to start investing, even though I've known for a few months that I want to. I want to convert my 60k into an S&S ISSA, but it's difficult to take the risk and actually accomplish it. A substantial milestone like £557k. Could you please share your plan? It would be wonderful to get understanding.

A perfect storm is brewing in the United States. Housing prices, Inflation, bank collapse, severe drought in the agricultural belt, recession, food shortages, diesel fuel and heating oil shortages, baby formula shortages, available automobile shortages and prices, the price of living place. It's all coming together and it could lead to a real disaster towards the end of this year (or sooner). With inflation currently at about 6%, my primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.

There are lot of ways to make a killing right now, but such high-volume near impeccable trades can only be carried out by real-time experts with ISDA Agreement. An agreement that lets investors sit at the “big boy table” and make high level trades not available to amateurs. Trying to be a high stakes trader without an ISDA is like trying to win the Indy 500 riding a llama.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

There are a bunch of bs assessments on indeed. I gave up searching when I got the question “add 3 numbers up to 30. Here in Tucson, our largest employer (education) is in the midst of layoffs- will be happening over the course of the year. Not sure of the number, I have heard up to 1k. These are a result of substantial overspending at the top. Job cuts include all levels from custodians to professors, VPs, and attrition. Such a terrible shame, these are people who have been employed here for 10-20 years.

What people don’t realize is that what economist fear the most is deflation because it is harder to recover from because if feeds upon itself more viciously than inflation. This inflation is not immediately taking affect on Americans because most are addicted to over spending unlike the depression era generation. This behavior of the depression era generation is the low bar that Americans can and will go back to and that will destroy businesses in tiers. If everyone only bought essentials, then businesses will die and layoffs will be massive to a point of equilibrium. Bottom line, if you own your house and car then you are in a good spot for the worst of the problem. If they inflation away you money you will still have a roof over your head and a vehicle to forage for food.

It's happening right now! Look at the number of new channels on YT providing recipes for the least expensive meals possible. And the reason for the continued spending is that the wealth gap is growing so quickly, it is the real life meme of "the rich just getting richer while the poor get poorer" more than ever SINCE the great depression. 2020 post pandemic created a lot of millionaires while the middle class got crushed.

Was at a recent Fed seminar with many local company companies. Fed was of course optimistic with a "soft" landing over the next two years. Possible rate cut in 4th qtr and another going into 2025 with an uptick in GDP in 2026. However , the real deal is that unemployment four our area is holding at 3.8% , which is deceiving. The item not being reported is the OT hours that many people used to budget over the last several years has disappeared. This has caused spouses or others to go back into the workforce in some service sectors to offset the loss of OT. Now the coming issue is that as inflation remains high , people will cut back and those service jobs will start to disappear. So, OT is gone and now the supplemental income is gone also leaving many people over extended. Going into the election will be interesting and 2025 might be very similar to 2008 ish.
