I use Inkscape to prepare all of my scroll saw patterns for printing. This is my process for getting the exact dimensions. I also prefer my patterns in light gray with a black outline. It is easier to see when cutting and easier on your printer cartridge.

+Elijah Elgersma Typically, you cut out the black. But it depends on the pattern designer. But most design scroll saw patterns to cut out the black.

Why do you need to say LETS GO AHEAD so much Steve Good does exactly the same one or twice is ok then it gets annoying and people turn off
