Great work done getting ready for fall! Winter is coming and you will be pleased with your work! Kirra was so interested in the chipmunk! Fun to see what you are up to!
Yes it is. We put out a couple cameras last weekend so it might show what we can expect for our season. I have a feeling it will bne a tough year again. Still a great time to spend in the woods with family and friends. Thanks for watching!
Years ago here's a good story my wife lived in the country in Illinois. As we moved out her stuff there was a shed that also had a 2 sitter outhouse built right in. The seats were up, as I walked back in to get other items she wanted, up pops a big rat! Now i have seen big rats before but I guess I didn't figure there was in there. So out the door I went and neither her or i went back in.
Jake there are many stories of outhouse critters. That is why I think a lot of folks hate the outhouse. Maybe you needed to carry a 22 rifle with you on the trips to the outhouse!! Thanks for sharing the story.
Snow on the ground here in town this morning. Sticking on the grass but not on the roads. Signs of fall with winter not far behind. Thanks for watching.
Seasonal change and chores to go with it as well. Just makes life in the woods a little easier and there is nothing wrong with that! Thanks for watching.
It's gonna be a cold deer season in northern Wisconsin next month for us I'm gonna be setting up deer in the woods woods with a 13x 27 wall tent with a wood stove
Cut lots of firewood Scott! Hunting in the "old" style like most people did in the past. I hope you have a great season and enjoy the time in the woods. Thanks for watching!
@@scottmueller2871 Yes Scott there have been sightings here. Back in the 70's there were sightings. Of course the DNR has said several times that mtn. lions are not in the area. I don't think they wanted to have to manage them in any way. Many have been seen now on trail cameras so hard to say lions aren't around.
When I was younger, I was a lot tougher. With age comes wisdom I think! At -20 it's a game changer but you're right, it is not the typical outhouse LOL! Thanks for watching.
No my land does not go down to the lake. That is good in some respects because I do not have to pay the higher taxes for lakeshore but get to view the lake from a short distance. There is a boat landing so we can get on the lake that way. Thanks for watching.
Works well and didn't cost me anything but the sacrifice of an old hockey stick. The aluminum ones at the rv store cost big bucks and this does pretty much the same thing. Red Green technology!! Thanks fpr watching.
Instead of buying the expensive aluminum grab poles for retrieving stuff in the front of the truck, I just cut down the blade of the stick with a hook on the end and can get items from the front and pull them to the back. Saves me from having to always crawl in and out all time to get things. Works ok and didn't cost me anything but the sacrifice of an old hockey stick! Thanks for watching.
We will be out on the stands and hopefully someone will have a buck walk by. Didn't see any sign last weekend when I was out putting up trail cameras but hard to tell right now with the leaves coming down in the woods. Just nice to spend time out in the woods with family and friends. Thanks for watching!
We do spend some time on the lake. Nice mix of fish in there but not the best lake around. Still enjoy fishing no matter how good it is or isn't. Any time you are out in the woods is a good time. Thanks for watching!
