Ohhh, my goodness, it's pure magic! I have no decorations out because my home is an absolute cluttered meal. I have 4 cats, one who is VERY naughty and will ruin anything I try to do. I have a 62 year old Christmas tree which over the years has lost all its green spines and become more of a stick tree. I love nature and feel very inspired by your natural home made decorations and greenery, so will decorate my stick tree with orange slices cranberry garlands and pine cones this year, along with anything evergreen I may find. Thank you for your inspiration. Your decorated home looks beautiful and sparkling.

And yeah, I'm addicted to that fresh cut pine/fir scent too. That fir garland, that diy tree with the ivy wrap, that owl on the other tree, and the "real looking" fireplace ties it all together. A string of all green, & another of all red LEDs makes a tree & garland look even more forest'y still - gives the pine needles a relaxing glow🏅🥇👏😉✌🦌🦉🐾🍀🎄.

Darling Alwyn! I hope you don't mind a rather long comment: with one suggestion, one question, and a lot of praise hehe! I adore how cozy your wee cottage is, your decor aesthetic so matches mine, and every time i watch one of these video's i am either nodding my head in agreement with your choices, or writng down those that inspire me. Yes i make lists for cleaning ans projects too, ever since i was a little girl. They are both pleasurable and comforting. The suggestion i had is to consider getting a live tree in a pot, for next year. We had a lovely pine tree one year from a tree nursery, and then planted it in the forest after yule. It isboth a way to be sustainable, give back to our environment, and enjoy a real tree in our home. And finally, my question is about fashion: where did you purchase that sweet tartan frock? I love tartans, and the red is so festive. Thank you for your videos, the magical lens through which you see the world, and the genuine charm and vibrancy that you bring to each one. The semi circular pieces of bark really looks like some enchanted doors or grand openings from the fairy realm or some magical secret room or a cute little cottage roof 💕

What surprised me was the part that I liked most was the tree at the end with the ivy. 🌿🌲🍃💚

Its still about 60F here in Tennessee or 15.56C. I love my Tennessee woods with clear streams with stone bottoms and waterfalls but I do wish I could see snow a little more often. Some years its none at all. Your videos are so beautiful and inspiring. Im drying my oranges today. 😁

I live in a small apartment and I have a small (fake) tree in my bedroom. I decorated with a lot of on-hand items and natural pieces as well. Dried flowers, little glass jars with nature in it, some painted and made items and some ribbons and faery lights. I was in a high control group for several years and missed out on the beautiful tradition of seasonal decorating. Looks amazing and reminds me of my winter decorations. Since my husband wants to have the lights up during the whole dark time ot the year, I do not decorate for christmas any more, but for winter. So I use a lot of trees, deer, birds and houses as well as antique ski, ice skates and a wooden sledge. And of course lots of lights. Even our christmas wreath with the 4 candles (one for each Advent Sunday) has a lot of birds on it. So no need to take the decoraton down after the holidays. 😁 I love your idea, to incorporate your christmas tree from last year into your decor. Alwyn, I'm always amazed by your decoration and your DIYs but this time you truly outdid yourself. Your house looks like a magical forest realm. Your hard work paid off. I only have one tree in my living room because i have two dogs and having a tree when they get the zoomies can be a recipe for disaster. However, what i love the most is putting up christmas lights around the house. They help create this warm and enchanted atmosphere inside when everything outside is dark and cold. It’s impossible to pick a favourite part. It all looks so beautiful and flows together perfectly. Thank you so much for your Yuletide sparkle. I’ve been decorating my lounge with everything Christmas and my conservatory I make into a winter wonderland. I do go a bit sparkly this time of year. You're a girl after my own heart 💕 I love this so much! ❤️ We were actually at a tree nursery today, and they had Birch bark pieces like that, they put one sideways on the front of a planter box. They were absolutely stunning! 🎄 Having a greenery presentation inside that birch bark box, with pine cones, twizzely-gnarly sticks (maybe with Epsom salts glued on for added sparkle), and some Holly with red berries🌿 🍒 they were stunning! 🍄🌰✨🎄✨❤️
