An extremely easy way to mount a ridgeline for those with zero experience. Ideal for GHB's or Go Bags, especially for your partner or older kids that need to carry a shelter system in their kits but have zero or limited knowledge of how to erect a poncho or tarp.
A little prep at home beforehand and you're good to go.
Requirements
25 ft of paracord
10 ft of thinner cordage (2mm) for making two short prussic loops and one long one.
2 small keyring type carabiners
2 plastic or wooden toggles (80mm long, 16mm dia) Materials are available on Amazon.
And a military style poncho
For the rucksack hanger, one toggle (as above), 4 ft or so paracord and a prussic loop.
