I am no carreer writer by far, but what helps me a lot is to draw each scene, it gives me new ideas to connect them together and what good routes are to wrap up the story
Thank you for this, I love the format! Managed to write about 1200 words watching the replay (I could only watch the first 1.5 hours today, but will come back to this😊)
Congrats, Michelle! I know you're gonna rock this like you do all your projects. And can I say, Project Waddle sounds like a good read! In other news, I spent the evening restoring all my presets for my hard drive since the old one was failing and I had to get a new one this past weekend. But Avi totally had a brain fart and FORGOT to save all my hard drive items in Google Drive or the cloud (heck, emailing it to myself would've definitely been better than nothing). Thankfully 80% of my stuff was saved in Google Drive just out of habit but the recent stuff was not. The computer tech saved some items in a folder with my name on it but it has a DEMO version of Scrivener when I know I paid for the subscription! So now I have to hunt to find the email with the subscription info. Ahh, good times. Seeing your updates will be motivation for me to get my act together. #writeclub
Ohhh my gosh. I mean, I'm happy 80% was saved but still - that SUCKS. What a nightmare! And I really hope you get the Scrivener thing resolved asap. Thank you for the reminder that I need to export every day, sheesh. o.O
you are doing fantastic!! #writeclub over 2,100 words this morning. And thank you for giving me the software hints I needed to get my dictation working really well.
Now that is planning! I can outline a chapter a few chapters before I get it, but if it's a 3rd person POV book or multiple 1st person POV I in no way know who will feature as the chapter POV until I reach it and get the vibe that x person feels right. I love the idea of writing off a synopsis, but the closest I've gotten lately is an STC bare bones outline that may or may not even be what I use when I get to writing. 😅
I like the idea of color-coding the chapters for the different POVs. Going to steal that idea for my next book :D Question for you: Are you using Dropbox or OneDrive for syncing? Or is it not an issue if you're only using the one MacBook?
