I've met him when he went to my house. I was a kid so i didn't really know what the situation was. But he's a man who could command great presence and yet exudes this friendly nature. Everyone was very relaxed when he was in the room. No tension. Although, this could be attributed to the bisaya dialect of which every word, no matter how malicious, can seem joking. He's a man that knows people, politics, and, from this video, foreign policy. I grew up being nagged about how he turned Davao into a paradise, which is worst since my parents are diplomats. So, I was a bit skeptical of this greater than life figure - - until that day where I saw what a true leader is.
