He tore the Republicans up in this speech and as an Independent I like him much more than I did before watching this video. Another thing...I hear Bin Laden is dead. Obama has been pulling us out of Iraq and focusing on Afghanistan and now Bin Laden is dead even though Bush couldn't get it done during his entire presidency. Obama may just clean up all of the mess Bush left behind.
Thank you for that! You appreciated Obama's efforts even then. Most of us didn't really appreciate him as we should have until he has long been gone from office. He was absolutely a decent man and a president who truly tried to work for the people, regardless of how some of the people felt about him.

@MrRedPajamas welp that was the rate in Homestead FL 4 years ago; back when minimum wage was only $6.50 / hr. I met the farmer while working at a feed and supply store and worked with him for awhile *gasp* picking tomatoes. 12/hr cash is probably closer to 16/hr with taxes; but most Americans won't do it because the labor is so damn hard (bent over for 12-14 hours per day in 90 degree heat). Thats my point: these farmers NEED workers, they pay pretty well for grunt work, but they can't get ppl

@ighforever I didn't get this from "evil" unless YOU think the word of God is "evil." Try reading it for YOURSELF, without outside narrative to twist the meaning. I'm not talking about reading a passage a day(outside of context), but a whole book at a time. Read it slow, re-read it again or at least parts that you "didn't get." Spend alot of thought on it. This is the same bible being read by Evangelicals, but you will find the actual message quite different than what they spout.

@MrRedPajamas Finally something I can agree with. Humans = naturally perfect hypocrites. I must give you props on realizing and admitting as much. Most people just dance around the issue of their own hypocrisy when confronted and/or adopt "oh yeah, well you" arguments as if that changes anything. In a related note, I've noticed that almost without fail - people's "pet peeves" are things that they are themselves guilty of.
Wow when I first scrolled down to see the comments I expected to see things more along the lines of 'lol' and 'michael Steele my brotha!' like seriously i'd hate to see what some of the comments are on a serious video which happens to have obama in it.
