I'm a true "REAGAN DEMOCRAT" thanks to President Reagan! Of course, by now I've switched because of the people running for office and the ideals of those running the party. As President Reagan once said, "I didn't leave the Democratic party, they left me!" It's so true for myself as well!

If you watch the 1989 Bush inauguration, the Marine band plays that Ronald Reagan March right after he arrives on the podium before the ceremony starts. This is the first time I’ve seen that it was a March particularly composed for Reagan himself.

Does anyone have any links to other files related to this piece such as the score, recordings, etc? It's a shame that this isn't well documented!

I have to agree. I didn’t think so as a kid. But the older I get the more I see, he was a genuine man and did change this country for the better.

+jon122569 you have got to be kidding please do some research my friend he provided plenty of magician Style propaganda yeah and got everybody to follow the Pied Piper while his partner Herbert Walker Bush worked very hard in undermining the constitution of our country and slowly but surely created the downfall of our country So Reagan went along with this whole thing and although I will say he pushed back a little then Bush tried to knock him out but it was unsuccessful in Reagan lived if you've been drinking the Kool-Aid your whole life that's going to be really hard to swallow but you really need to start doing your research and come out of your brainwashed propaganda trance and start looking at history realistically

you have got to be kidding Ronald Reagan and Herbert Walker Bush help the military industrial complex destroy our reputation in the world and run a federal deficit higher than any Administration in US history and made the middle class burden all of the expense while taking away in Outsourcing all the jobs that were left so you better put down the picture of Kool-Aid that you've been drinking because it's all propaganda BS 2324 brim formation act we now know that Reagan and Bush contacted the Iranians and told them 2 not release the hostages until after the election there by stealing the election from Carter they committed treason in even Reagan was an evil enough for Bush senior so bush in the CIA tried to have Reagan killed so Papa Bush could take over even sooner but it backfired and didn't work you don't believe any of his start doing your research and check out your real history and put that picture of Kool-Aid down

@@polara01 You are a f*ucking idiot. It was Obama who ran the biggest debt in US history with $10 trillion dollar during his 8 years in office. The outsourcing of jobs started under Bill Clinton with his stupid NAFTA.

Also on this date: The WWF's Main Event show aired on NBC. The show featured a rematch from Wrestlemania 3 between WWF Champion Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant. In what came to be known as the Twin Referee Incident, Hogan loses the title to Andre by pinfall in spite of having his shoulder up before the count of three. Immediately after the match, Andre would hand the title over to The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase and announce him as the new WWF World Champion. Furthermore, the official involved in the controversial ending, Dave Hebner, would be confronted by a doppleganger - his real life twin brother Earl - in the ring, before Hogan dispatched of the both of them. In the coming days, the title would be declared vacant and a tournament would be held to fill the vacancy at Wrestlemania IV at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City. Randy Savage would win the tournament, defeating Dibiase in the finals with help from his friend The Hulkster. No punishments were announced for anyone involved in the screw job ending, including referees Earl and Dave Hebner, Andre (for selling the title), or Dibiase (for buying the title).
