Hi! Very soecific "tools" you used. Super! I am a little affraid to destroy my frame. Currently I have not found the correct tools for that. Is there a link to the official tools? I have a Spark RC 2022 with 9960km / 53748hm in that two seasons. Maybe it would be a good idea to change bearings before next season. Ciao.
To be specific, you need two main ones for small bearings: 6801 & 6802 bearings type. Check RapidRacerProducts if its available around you. And then the big ones on main pivot - improvise, ha!
Hello Tom, sorry to bother you, but by any chance, do you happen to have the exact size or reference of the bearings so that I can order them individually? I don't want to buy the complete kit as I find it too expensive for just bearings. It seems that the small bearings are 6802 LLU MAX BO 15X24X5 (2 pieces) and 6801 LLU MAX BO 12X21X5 (2 pieces). I'm missing the 2 large ones for the frame. Thank you.
Hey Axel, here you go! Seatstay / Linkage: X2 21x12x5mm (6801) Chainstay: X2 24x15x5mm (6802) Seattube / Linkage: X2 37x27.7x6.5mm About main linkage - It is possible to use 37x27.5x7mm (27537) if needed. If this is done the 2 rubber seals must be removed. However, I would not suggest doing so for prolonged time, because the washers worns out too - and it is super handy to have whole new kit on hand. In case if something breaks, etc - you will be saved too :)
Thanks for sharing! Thats the main thing I am interested about - how clear those essential parts become, as maybe sometimes I might show too much details which are not needed at all ✌
