This helped a lot. I use the wool mat but didn't realize the difference in pressing and ironing. Thank you. this would have helped me with the new years quilt I tried with you in jan 2023.

Great info…???…how do you feel about starching your fabric when pressing out the folds after purchasing???…I know some prefer starch and some don’t they prefer just dry iron…I normally you starch…

I have not ever been one to add starch to my fabrics, it feels like another step, and am a bit too carefree for that, haha
