Lena is brilliant, and mumblecore is such an important movement, a lot of people don't get it, that's fine, not everyone has the same desire to tell their story.
I've only seen the beginning of "Tiny Furniture" and I'm not familiar with her other work, but I think "Girls" is that much stronger because of the collaboration with Judd Apatow.
I've always been told that I was very articulate and great at explaining things. By bosses, coworkers, professors, etc. It's nothing something I parade around or feel that good about. In any case its just the way she talked that reminded me of myself. She seems like she has her own ideas about things very well developed and can really let it pour out, but that she's still very trapped in her own way of looking at things. It seems that way to me, at least.
