@@NOVAtazz sorry to bother you again but I just did the same pressure check as you and Test 1: start at50 went to 90 Test 2 start at 55 went to 90 Test 3 start at 55 went to 100 Test 4 start at 150 went t0 270 Which is all in spec according to what you said??? When I took it to this transmission shop they said I had hydraulic pressure issues!!! That's why I check pressure!! But it's good so I'm trying to figure out what to do lol I'm not getting no upshift 1-2 2-3 or 3-4 when hotany advice?? May e

@Bseries_Vans id love to help more but im not an exspert on these trans i was just going though what i found to figure out why mine wasnt working. I mean i ended up taking mine apart several times till i got frustrated took it to a small trans shop that i bought a core i had them go through my old one cause i was stumped ....i build the whole thing correctly.....but mixed up the clutch packs between the first n second pack

Hi excuse me to disturb you , I need to make test pressure on my 47re, it's the same thing like you, but mut they say on repair book to " disconnect throttle and gearshift cables from levers", so if I understand well I need to disconnect the throttle valve cable and the manual lever to make manually?? but Why do this if I raise the truck and one friend stay at the driver side and me I stay under the truck to read the gauge is it the same thing instead of disconnect the 2 levers?????

Yeah I just had somebody up in the truck to use the gas pedal to do it that way I didn't have to disconnect anything

Hi ok. So you raised only the truck and you plug the gauge at différents locations and after you start the truck and you shift.

My first guess was something in the valve body wasn't right. Secondly I don't really see these pumps fail however you could always develop a leaky seal within a pump assembly and I would suspect if all pressures were low then maybe there is a problem but you were getting 80lbs on the rear servo which tells you the pump was actually pumping high pressure. I read down in the comments it was a valve body issue.

Partly yes but after taking to a shop i also had the first n second clutches reversed

When you did the different test on transmission you said to raise the rpm to 1000 rpms and then you said move the throttle lever from full forward position to the full rearward position??? I was just wondering how did you bring throttle to 1000 rpms and then go under truck and move throttle lever to the full rearward position??? Did u have a second person

@@Chevy-f4l the throttle position cable is the one going down the the trans its seperate from the throttle cable

Try the back flow check valve on the transmission line off the bottom of the radiator

Where'd you get the tranny tester? I'm have an issue with the same tranny and may need to test mine. Hoping for an easier solution though. Mine won't shift down into 1st when stopped so starts in 2nd... most of the time. Occasionally it works fine... may rev a bit high before shifting to 2nd but not certain. Thanks for the video!

Pressure tester just found it online think its an otc brand tester you need to make sure u have one to be able to test both ports at once

With it not building pressure I would guess pump. There is a difference between low pressure and very low pressure build. But I'm not a transmission specialist or a flow technician so I could definitely be wrong.

Havent even messed with this truck since the spring as i was working on the trans am but yes the pump is my conclusion too just need to buy one n pull the trans again

I know nothing about transmissions but I’m just guessing that the pump is worn out. Whatever the worst case scenario is, that is just your and my luck, lol

plus you don't know what you're getting at the scrap yard. Warrantied or not, who wants to do that job twice on 1 car.@@NOVAtazz
