Pressure Washer Repair - Replacing the Spray Wand (Ryobi Part # 308494065) 

I couldn't get the wand undone and it took me two days to figure out as it was jammed and I couldnt remove it. Anyway do this: 1. Ensure the wand is screwed on clockwise. 2. Point and place the tip of the wand on the ground (spray tip on the floor). 3. Push down on the whole gun until you hear a small click 4. Turn the wand counter clockwise until you feel it turn further than it was turning before 5. Lift up and pull the wand out 6. Profit and do a dance! 😂

I’m having a tough time actually, removing the newer spray wand I added to this particular pressure washer… any suggestions? I don’t know if I’m turning it the right way.😬😬

I have the same problem. The o ring looks in good condition. In my opinion, Ryobi pressure washers are disposable. I really hate mine. I has less than 3 hours of use and it leaks at the wand. Garbage. Would never buy again.

Why do you place your hands in such a way as to obscure the direction in which you are twisting the wand? Some of us out here are really starting at ground level and don't know whether it should be turned clockwise or counter clockwise.

I have the same wand connection but, why is it soo hard to get it on!?? I tried to hammer it and that just puts dings in the tip of the end!! 🆘

I have a problem or 2 maybe with my ryobi electric pressure washer, it sprays out water from the wand while it's on but without pressing the trigger,the other problem is that it's leaking out water from the wand,plus help...

Who are u kidding ! It don’t turn like that even with pliers - You are changing a wand that is brand new never been used . Show us how to change a old unit which has seen long service

Wand does NOT come off with any known human strength. Showing brand new ones that are factory fresh is little help...thumbs down to you sir.

Just buy a aftermarket wand. My ryobi wand broke after the first time I used it. Don’t keep rebuilding cheap ass equipment.
