Very informative. I'm realizing I don't know much about this. And I've been doing it for years! lol. I'll check out pressurewash . com because it's seems I'm missing stuff. So, using chlorine, do you notice a significant difference over using nothing but water? As for guns, I like to stay really far away from the action so I just put everything on the end of the giraffe. :)
Something 2LookAt yep the chlorine after sitting on the concrete for approximately 10 min, it melts the dirt right off and comes much brighter and cleaner. I understand the need for the long reach gun :)
yes ,i have also been doing a little bit of pressure washing and i used to just use water. but ilike2mow showed me how much better using chlorine is. its so much faster because the chlorine does all work. The dirt grime algie and mildew just comes right off then u let it sit for a few minutes then rinse it off with water and it looks so much better.
No worries :) Whenever I am doing a concrete wash and using chlorine, the first thing I do is use the soap tip and wet the grass and plants with straight water next to the concrete. This prevents chlorine burn. After I am done, I wet those areas again with the soap tip and straight water to dilute any chlorine that got onto those plants and grass areas, and then it also rinses them off so there is no chance of burning.
Oh and one more thing I forgot to mention, using the chlorine to clean makes the cleanliness of the concrete last longer versus just using straight water.
