It's so interesting to see how this channel's shifted from a straightforward academic menswear guide to almost a reality show where you're taught menswear by your favorite "characters".
Totally agree with you on this one. And I'm really not sure whether it's a positive or rather a negative aspect of this channel's development over the course of last few years...
I trust you mean this in a positive sense! We hope that by giving our viewers a bit more insight into our own lives, we'll create a closer-knit community--but of course, we still endeavor to put education and advice at the forefront of our content. Thanks for watching and commenting! - Preston
I see this as a positive. I liked the channel when I was just seeing Raphael, and learning classic style rules to follow. But his style is too much for me, a construction worker. Seeing Preston and Kyle as well as a glimpse into their wardrobes makes the channel seem more approachable. Not just information for special occasions.
I have followed this channel for years now. When Preston was first introduced I was skeptical of Preston's ability to match Raphael's suave energy, yet Preston brings his own erudite persona. Preston upholds and displays the finest of qualities that make a gentleman, a host and a sartorial scholar. Thank you for your work. I always find this channel comforting and peaceful, especially since my military life is chaotic.
Hi Preston! I love this video. As a blind person, I’m really interested in how you organize your ties, cufflinks, and pocket squares. Pls make a video on this. I really enjoy watching a person with an impairment dressing well and living life. You’re fantastic and you inspire me to dress well. Thank you and I wish you all the best.
I am happy with my humble wardrobe so far. It's by no means 'Raphael-esk' (you would need 3 days to go through his item by item) but due to diversity materials patterns and by combinations (that's the key) it looks acceptably large. The greatest lack is on bow ties and I love them.
Equally as enchanting as Part 1. Thanks Preston. Again, I'm waiting for the magic wand to morph your incredible collection into a woman's classic wardrobe. 🧡
Preston, my man...your voice is as musical as a flute!!! Love, absolutely love your humility and sense of elegant style. Now, with the beard debuting in your more recent upload, I think it'd be fair to say you're no longer just Preston schluter but Count Preston Schluter!!! Lots of love. Keep up the good work
Nicest collection of handkerchiefs, cuff links, and ties I've ever seen. I've got lots of ties but nothing compared to these---- 'Micro floral', that's a term I can start using.
I truly do admire you Preston. I am not yet an adult, however I do wish to become wealthy enough to build a high quality and comprehensive wardrobe. At the moment, I have become increasingly more interested in menswear, but have always had a prominent curiosity in the field. As a mere teenager, I have a tight budget to work with, so second hand items are the most sensible option for a person such as myself. Your videos on how to inspect a clothing article for quality has helped me greatly. I am trying my absolute hardest to culture and gain a good dress sense by the age of eighteen, seeing as many people judge by appearances. What I am trying to say (in the most long winded way possible) is, thank you, for your guidance.
Really enjoyed this look at your wardrobe!!! I'd love to hear more about your tie strap and how you made it; I'm interested in making one myself. Seems like a brilliant idea!
When you buy vintage ties, how do you clean them? And I'm sorry to say this but your sock drawer is a mess. I really recommend KonMari method for storing socks.
I had no idea that Preston went to wayzata I also went to wayzata but only in elementary school. I put the puzzle pieces on together because I know you live in Minnesota and the Trojans are wayzata.
"wore this on my wedding day" .... can we please have a photo of you and the bride? I would like to see what you wore, and how it corresponded with the ensemble of your bride, as I am interested in marriage men style.
yeah that was so quick hardly got a good look at his outfit. would have been nice to see wedding ring, and a photo of him and bride or entire wedding party
