What I like about Pete is he’s not hilarious, but is consistently funny. I’ll take that over one hilarious joke every thirty minutes. Loved this guy since badman first came out.

Like anything, art is a lot more fun when you know something about it. If you don't want to read a book or sit through a class about it then I recommend something like the Sister Wendy series of specials from the 90s.

You know I kind of root for Pete really. I want to root for him more. Ive watched a lot of his standup, I watched some episodes of his show, I try! He seems like a real nice guy, he deserves it! But after much watching I have to come to the conclusion that if you stuck me in a small room with a giant tv showing just clips of his standup and you filled the room with dangerous amounts of nitrous oxide while you got two professional ticklers to tickle me silly, I still wouldnt laugh at his jokes. He’s just not funny as a stand-up. The Badman stuff is well produced and shot and some of the ideas are funny but they’ve only made me giggle at best. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Keep reaching for them stars Pete!
