PREY (2022) FIRST TIME REACTION!! | Predator Newbies watch things get crazy! 

I am part French, Choctaw, Irish, Scottish and Cherokee. No they didn't start trying to wipe out their food source until later on when settlers from the East started pushing West and the military started their intense battles when they were trying to drive them from their lands. This was early on when the French fur traders were killing animals indiscriminately just for the fur and wasting the meat. French fur traders were outnumbered most of the time and they couldn't afford to piss off any local tribes around them because they would get wiped out by the tribes for messing with their food supplies if they got caught. And they were supposed to negotiate with the tribes and get permission to hunt on their lands otherwise they would be hunted down and killed. It was wise for them to trade with them and keep a rapport with the native Americans. You would have to have vast numbers to be stupid enough to travel to a foreign land and try those tactics otherwise a lot of these groups were in small parties and they couldn't afford to piss off the natives . Hollyweird is never accurate with their depiction of history. They only tell a skewed version of history based on their politics and how they were brainwashed in school coming up in school by left-wing teachers. There are more nuances to history than people understand and it's never as cut and dry as people are led to believe sometimes. They did try to wipe out their food source but that was a little bit later and this was supposed to be just before that period.

Yes!!! And they officially named this one the Feral Predator. I like it!!!

Also goes to show you that sometimes the monsters are the people themselves, that scene was very well done

Cinebinge clocked it right away. In fact, this is the first reaction I’ve seen where they thought it was the Predator, even after finding the cigar (which I think they talked over and missed). But they caught on shortly thereafter.

@@SnappingTurtle801 lmao maybe I did 😂😂 but this is the first predator movie I’ve been able to sit down and watch all the way through with no distractions. Could also be bc the predator franchise was never really my thing but I’ll probably go back and watch all of them.

@@SinSinny I get that. It's not for everyone....don't know why.....LOL. Seriously though, if you do watch them all and w/o talking crap about any of them and I can....lol. I won't tell you which ones to steer clear from. I'll just say some are better than others.🤐 Can't speak about the last two cause I've not seen them myself, but make sure to include both Alien vs Predator(AvP) too.....IMO

@@SnappingTurtle801 I think I’ve seen all the alien bs predator movies. I seem to remember those more than their stand alone films 😂 but I’ve heard a few of the predator movies were bad, especially the last one. If I can watch Jeeper Creepers 3 without throwing up I think I can handle it 😂😂😂

Is that way its weaponry is primitive? I thought it was because they weren't as advanced as they were in the other movies which would be their future too. Past or future they're still way more advanced than us....idk.

@@SnappingTurtle801 Would not make sence, because in AvP the Maya Pyramide in the Ice was 1000 of Years old and in the Flasback you saw the Predators use Plasmacannons to defend the Xenomorphs.

@@SnappingTurtle801 The Yautja in Prey is of a different ethnicity than the ones we are used to. That's why he looks different and uses different tools. He's a Feral Predator and we usually see Wolf Predators.The creators said his ethnic group is from the desert part of their planet. Their culture holds a reverence for bones, and was used to make their equipment, armor, and as a food source. Their blood is also less luminous than the Wolf predators. I don't think he was young, i think he was just hunting. Because apparently Naru killing him caused more Yautja ships to land nearby their camp.

Exactly!! I see a lot of people refusing to see this film and just hating on it cause they think its 'Woke', I know what is woke and this one definitely is not! This is female protagonists done RIGHT, we genuinely care for her and her journey throughout the film and she goes from a underdog to badass! This movie is definitely the best sequel since the OG.

Yep! And it's not like the original Predator wasn't a male power fantasy, lol.

I absolutely hate woke shit and I still unequivocally loved this movie; I’ve rewatched it three times now. Mostly I liked it because every step of the way, Naru EARNED her empowerment, and generally I like any movie whose overall message is to never EVER let yourself be victimized and to never stop fighting. This film reminds you; well, reminds women in particular but I don’t care ‘cause it’s a good message; that you should NEVER think of yourselves as lambs in a den of wolves. FIGHT BACK, DAMN IT. And any movie that gives that kind of message is one I can wholeheartedly get behind.

Why people bothered bcs the prota is a woman? She is not the first female protagonist in films. Where are these haters back then when Angelina Jolie was Lara Croft? Did nobody say anything because she's hot or something 😂
