Whoever is saying CGI bear was bad then explain with your little brain how to do it in real ? You wanna see real bear fighting and getting killed ? You are insane! that fight with the bear was so amazing as we have never seen Predator fight a big animal.
I think it depends on the style of filmmaking. The CGI bear was fine for me, but they could have done it practically and shot it more up close and intense.

On Criterion’s website you can view all their films by a-z, genre, release date, etc. There you can see what interests you the most and go for it. Ngl I was kind of disappointed with how they handled the predator. Some of the fight scenes felt inconsistent. Like the predator can take on a giant grizzly bear as well as effortlessly take down near 40 trappers with guns. Yet somehow gets bested by some scrawny girl? Now I'm not saying that she shouldn't have been the lead role or anything like that. Hello, Ripley? She was bad to the bone, yet it didn't go overboard with the whole "I'm a woman, hear me roar."
We'll in the whole final figth the young predator HAD A BULLET IN IT'S HEAD I'm SURE it's not in a very good mood to think and it's figthing a lot of Humans and animal's for the whole day it's probably already tired Or wounded.
@@deinocheirusthebestduck5447 yes, that predator went through a lot. So did all the other predators in every other movie, the difference is that the way this predator died was unrealistic. The others, however, did.
what i have learned from the comment section is that you will never ever in a million years satisfy everyone about anything, no one just watches things for the sake of watching it everyone feels so entitled and judgemental i guess thats where the term "everyones a critic" comes from smh what a world we live in
Comanche dub is great.. but... they speak English ...because the majority of their audience do? I mean.. same reason most films in the USA use English for the primary language and reserve subtitles for secondary, in most cases. The Comanche dub is better, more immersive, but I have found the "I wish they didn't speak English" complaint really really weird, considering.
Was pretty awful tho, Bears, wolves and eagle cheese. I agree that as a native American 'Predator' KUNGFU movie it was a New direction, maybe it will give birth to a 'Predators' through the ages style idea.
Dutch struggles with the Predator, getting rag dolled in hand to hand combat but this girl some how forces this Yautja to cut his arm off by using her spear (that should have broken) redirecting his shield into his arm cutting it off. She then IMMIDETLY struck by the same shield TWICE and takes ZERO damage. Yeah, outstanding action. And tricking him in to shooting himself? like how stupid is this Predator? I have no idea why everyone wants to turn the blind eye on how bad this movie actually is.
Yup. My point exactly. The fighting was inconsistent. The predator can take on a giant grizzly and 40 trappers with guns, but can't beat a tiny girl that maybe weighs 80 lbs? And she somehow knows everything about the predator to know how to use his own facemask to kill himself? Either this predator was dumber than a box of rocks or this was just lazy thinking on the directors part.
This predator's is already wounded and figthing a lot of people and animal's before the whole final figth started And let's not forget it had a bullet inside it's Head in the whole final figth too and the Way the Naru killed the feral predator is the SAME Way how Dutch killed the 1984 predator BY Outsmarting it
@@deinocheirusthebestduck5447 that doesn't really explain why they don't have the advanced technology they should have, like in the previous movies and the comics. It also doesn't explain why the predator was able to take out 40 guys with guns without breaking a sweat, but got his butt kicked by a small comanche girl. That predator was far larger than even the biggest french trappers and it gets the crap beat out of him. Shoot, like the other guy said, even Dutch struggled with the predator. It just doesn't really make a bit of sense.
@@timmcbride7446 it actually says a lot given that every movie in the franchise since the original has a terrible rotten tomatoes percentage (32%, 65%, 33%) yet this film has a 92%.
@@MeTaLISaWeSoMe95 not really. He got a few decent hits in, but he by no means made the predator struggle. And it literally has nothing to do with the fact that she's a girl. It's how unrealistic it is. We all enjoyed Sigourney Weaver in aliens, yet she never whooped the aliens butt from here to kingdom come. We liked her character because she was authentic.
I agree with all your points!! I watched this one then rewatched the original and couldn't even finish it. Completely different vibes. I'm really happy with the direction they took with this one, and it allows for more people to get into the franchise than the previous movies' intended audience. I find it funny that most of the comments saying it was just ok or that it was woke trash are most likely people from the original film and onwards intended audience. Not everything has to be guns and explosions all the time. This is hands down the best predator movie since the original, and it's ratings prove that. To each their own, but some of you might wanna reflect on why you dislike this film so much, if you know what I'm saying...
People like to talk shit about cgi without knowing how nearly fucking impossible it is to make realistic looking animals with gravity, fur physics, proper hinge at the joints, proper facial muscles etc

@@LiliTierney Critics support woke trash. This film benefits from this because it was on the line of woke and normal people. You pair the decent reviews from the public with backing of critics and you have success. The reason I feel it doesn't save the franchise is merely personal opinion. Naru was not really likeable and the setting/timeframe offered little substance. The only memorable scenes were ones with the predator.
