I doubt it, I bought it months later and ended up with a softlocked save playing the game normally.

I didn't encounter any of this playing regularly. One of the more polished AAA games in fact.

None of the glitches we actually use in Any% are patched in the latest version.

It's system shock 3. there now you can stop whining about a game it was never going to be.

its really not worth it to spend time patching things that 99% of people will never experience anyway almost every 3d game that has climbing or picking up objects is prone to clipping between walls

Games age has nothing to do with good coding/programming

speedrunning is like the ultimate stress test for a games programming. runs like this are not really representative of how well the games programming is. although the mineral duplication is pretty bad.

It's definitely an old version. The recycler duplication trick was patched out very shortly after release.

Nah you have it backwards. Newer games, at least complex ones, are by far harder to make without there being some kind of issues. Newer games use way more complex and sophisticated graphics, physics, scripting, maps, gameplay etc. just everything is way more extensive. There are several times more things that could go wrong in modern games that can't even be in issue in older games. There is also way more stuff that can be affected by these issues. More primitive games are way easier to do "bugfree" because you simply can't break what *isn't even implemented*.

Nick ward it’s a solid game. It’s just kind of easy to leave bounds because of how the glue gun generates collision detecting clumps. Only really happens if you’re trying to get it to happen.

Better than doom at least. I played Prey just before playing doom both for the 1st time and doom felt pretty bland and lacking compared to prey.
