This contastant go to the golden road for more than $86000 Viper! One of the Highest expensive Price is right History! She finally got the Biggest daytime Price is right History!
I am shocked that she won an $86,000 Dodge Viper SRT 10 Convertible. The floor clock looked gorgeous and how amazing is it that any contestant win an expensive car as the first person up on stage. Excellent job.
That Viper was also won by Vicky Ann as part of her Double Showcase/$147,517 win on the 35th Season Premiere. So I do believe Mary ties Vicky Ann for winning the most expensive ever offered during The Barker Era prior to his final week (when his final Golden Road offered an over $100,000 Motorhome.). Congratulations Mary!!!
I miss Rich Fields as the TPIR announcer! Now, don't get me wrong, I love George Gray as the current one, but there's something exciting & fun about him! 😊😍
This Golden Road, if played by someone who has watched the game a lot, was almost impossible to lose: No way the dinnerware is under $200, so the first is a gimme The first number is 8, so the second number won’t be 8. There was already a 7 in the clock price, so the second number won’t be 7 either, leaving the 5. The second number was 5, so the third number won’t be 5 (this doesn’t always happen, but often does). Almost never is the missing grand prize number a 0, and the third prize has a 3 so the third digit will not be 3. Boom.
Actually, the premire of that same season had a Viper in the showcase. Both showcases were won, and that contestant became the biggest TPiR Daytime winner at the time.
@@millertime97jm I had just mentioned that in my own comments. So if Mary had won the biggest the biggest TPIR daytime prize ever at that time, I think she would actually tie Vicky Ann for that record.
ya this was b4 then................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Mid-00s TPIR was, to put it nicely, "unique" with its prizes. Brass beds, Michael C. Fina silverware, in this case the infamous Howard Miller grandfather clocks and Fiestaware... ... then they offer a yellow Viper SRT 10
ya cause the car was a horrible prize...........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I had a dream that they were playing the golden road and Bob said hyping up the crowd we have a prize worth more then 95,000 dollars and the contestant was excited and he said look at it and the doors opened and it was a jalopy car with smoke coming out of it and flat tire zonk from Lets Make A Deal with that womp womp womp music. Bob was beside himself and the contestant walked off stage in disgust
That'd be a hilarious April Fools joke on TPiR today. Bonus points if Wayne Brady was waiting behind the doors like "Hey Drew! Just thought I'd drop by to remind everyone to watch Let's Make a Deal!"
ya cause thatd cost 86 grand........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
