@@drewbanks8386 bro especially hitting a Cro Cop head kick are off the back ARM BAR TRANSITION INTO TRIANGLE. I mean 80% of the fighters have their own animations too! No to mention you can go back and watch ur old matches
I applaud you for coming up with new ideas. You’re evolving right in front of our eyes. but I gotta give my daily reminder brother- MARTIAL!! you’re killing me haha. Hope you’re doing good man.
Lmao!!! At this point it's beyond fun. But like I said... I have a very special video planned where I'll give u the shoutout. Here I'll help you. It won't be in a showcase. It won't be in one of these videos where I play different MMA games. It'll be a reaction style video. Patience my friend. Patience.
What makes Undisputed 3 great is not just its grappling, its that thing you feel when you watch a fight, that feeling where one punch can just end it or one knock down and then ground and pound throwing all you have while the other guy is blocking, moving his head maybe try to catch one of you punches and you wondering if the referee is finally gonna stop it or not, because in this game they can stop it before the guy is unconscious or after. And when you’re the guy who got ground and pounded and you feel like the fight was stopped way to early you feel the same way real fighters feel when there fight is stopped.
Well said! And while the striking is pretty stiff and robotic, they did such a good job as far as strike speed and damage. That and they captured any of the fighters signature strikes. Cro Cops left head kick in game looks authentic. Anderson Silva has that front snap kick he used to knock out Belfort. GSP has his trademark spinning heel kick. And the list goes on and on. You can tell the dev team really loves MMA with all the details they put in the game. I know I've said it a million times but if they were still making the Undisputed games there's no telling how amazing they would be in 2023 with the advancements in technology and more powerful consoles of today. Undisputed 3 wasn't perfect but it was amazing. Really the only issues I had with it were the striking animations were pretty stiff, and I feel the head health regeneration wasn't as good as it could have been. Head health should have regenerated on the fly after avoiding damage for several seconds after being rocked. You'd gain a little head health back in between rounds but wasn't what it should have been. Minor gripes for such a great game.
I would like to see a ONE FC game made by the THQ guys that made undisputed, with MMA, muay thai and Kickboxing modes, the only thing is I don't think a lot of people know of the killers in ONE, but I think if well done it could be fun, and a good competition to EA's UFC series.
Man, you brought my childhood vibes back, i've borrowed ps3 from my friend and spend 2 days trying to find undisputed 3 disc in my country. Now, playing the shit out of it like it's 2012 again.
Ahh Pride Mode... One of the main reasons ill never stop going back to Undisputed 3. But I recently got PS2 Pride for myself and for one of those old arcadey MMA experiences, its pretty solid.
This was the best mma game for ps2 imo. The complete customizations in CAF mode. The only thing that is better on that console is actually a kickboxing game K-1 grand prix.
The thing I like most about UFC Undisputed 3 is the uniqueness of the fighters, Henderson's jab is unique and looks lifelike, I know a few fighters in UFC 3/4 have unique animations as well, but it's not nearly as noticable as in Undisputed 3 imo
They really did. Hell they even had Machidas unique trip takedown, but had to remove it because it was so OP lol. I remember when EA MMA came out I was so pumped to play it mainly because of the unique roster. I mean you had Fedor and Randy Couture, plus a ton of other MMA legends. And after playing it for a few days I was kinda bummed because Nick Diaz was the only fighter who felt unique. The rest of the fighters all threw the same punches and kicks. It just felt like each fighter was the same, just reskinned. Undisputed 3 really nailed each fighter as far as what strikes they threw, plus Rampage had his signature slams. I think some of the fighters had double legs where they'd go straight into side control if I remember correctly.
Martial, here's a challenge for you when Kris Moutinho gets added to the game, you have to win a fight online using him while having to use your face to block punches!
Hey man I love this stuff I have an uncle that is a 7th degree black belt in jujitsu and he also holds black belts in judo and tae Kwon do. Also black belts in muay tai and Ashihara Karate. He’s a certified in a Russian martial art called “ Systema” and he can wrestle as well he is a 3 time national judo champion and a 2 time pan American medalist. He also used to be the head USA national training squad. He also was United States judo association couch of the year
Man my friends and I use to spend hours playing this. I use to main Gilbert Yvel. I remember one time I came out and landed one head kick and the fight was over. Good times.
I can't wait for UFC 2, wanna know what Martial mind will show up. The classic Martial mind or will he still try to remember how to play. Tbh I love seeing his pull counter it was always a thing a beauty
I grew up on the Pride FC game it's awesome you should really play the grand prix in that game in another video because the presentation the entrances and winning the trophy very fun and rewarding
This game at the time was so hard to find!!! Even with the goofy sound effects it was much better than the ufc's at the time. A second game came out in Japan as well called "Pride Grand Prix" but never made it to the states! You should try the K1 games too, they have a very early mma mode but the kickboxing is fun alone!
@@datguy9408 i was always surprised they never caught on in the US. They kickboxing is super fun and the rosters were huge. Ive been debating getting a old playstation just to play them again.
We as gamers are getting the shaft thanks to EA buying up all these properties and monopolizing everything. It's sad because they're so huge all they care about it profit. I know that's what every company wants in the end but they're so far on the side of monetization, there's no art or passion anymore. Good things are on the horizon tho as far as options. We just need to wait it out.
The way you talk to us in the video, almost like a conversation is awesome. I wish you could get a semi regular live streaming schedule so that you can talk and interact when you are playing. Those moments like when you looked up the degree of black belt would be cool on stream. Or like when you say "see im getting lost in the game because im having fun" you could throw a poll up and ask ya stream "should i keep playing or switch games?"... then you could cut up that live stream and put up a video like this one and double dip. I know that was long and i hope it makes sense.
I would really love to do more of that man. It's just streaming takes so long and right now... Especially with my kid, it's really hard to find the time. But I feel you though. I'm gonna see what I can do.
Were there Pride specific moves like stomps in PrideFC? I sort of remember that one, but it wasnt one I played at the time. If you havent, you should check out the Def Jam series, which are all different. The first one is a straight wrestling game. The second one, Fight For New York, is amazing and a super fun MMA game. The third one is a fn mess. Thanks for these!
Not only does it have soccer kicks but it also had a lot of weird pro wrestling moves. The create a fighter was wild. I used to play it all the time with my older brother and it was great times
I never play offline on ufc 4 but I did last night for the first time. I noticed you can change rule sets to Japanese and have a vale tude round too. I wish we could do these I'm online modes! Ea mma was so cool because you could change rules sets
Man I never knew pride game existed and boy did it look cool. I wonder if they would ever remake a pride game for those old school fans. I know nothing about it but I’d love to learn. However I will say this I love the aesthetic of UFC 3 grappling. I most especially appreciated the submission system in that game
Bro... Some of my haters are more devoted than people that actually enjoy my content. It's hilarious. They have my notifications turned on and they drop WHATEVER they are doing the moment I upload to dislike. Nothing but fans in denial. Groupies. Actual groupies.
Been loving the content lately bro, these types of videos have been extremely fun to watch! Also... Day 9 of asking for a Def Jam Fight For New York series!
Just to let you know. At 18:50 that was Hendo vs Little Nog, not Big Nog. You can tell that is Little Nog by his 7-2 PRIDE record. Big Nog's PRIDE record was 17-3-1NC. Big Nog also never fought at Middleweight. Hendo fight against Big Nog was in an openweight bout. Hendo was 200 pounds and Big Nog was 230 pounds. Hendo DID fight Lil Nog though in the PRIDE Middleweight division, and he coincidentally lost to both Nogueira brothers by armbar.
Yea PrideFc on the ps2 was very classic but very arcaded with a little bit of simulation which was good at the time unlike UFC takedown through sudden impact
Please can we have more undisputed 3 Henry my ps3 broke so I can't play it but godamn this game is better than any ea sports game by tenfold, keep up the good work big dog
