Primary Arms PLxC 1-8x LPVO 

I knew I wanted an LPVO optic and after going hands on with most of them at Shotshow this year, I settled on the PA PLXc. Easily the best bang for your buck.

With that setup, 1.54" mount absolutely. The driving factor being the piggyback red dot height over bore on a 1.70" being so high.

Dude thank you for this! So I just put a really nice nightforce Nx8 2.5-20x50 mil-c reticle optic on my dd block 2 m4A1 upper. She is my backpack SPR gun because it’s with the law folder and she fits perfectly into my grey ghost apparition bag folded. If I went 16” she wouldn’t work. With my optic I got the badger comm mount and I was pretty set on the 1.70 height. In researching it though i could only find a 1.54” height mount they were sold out everywhere else. So I bought the 1.54 also because I want to run a clip on thermal one day for hog hunting. Since then I have been bummed about the 154 even though it is so damn comfy except standing. But I’m going to put an rmr at 35 degree 1.70 mount so that point will be mute eventually. I love the mount so much and this video made me appreciate the 154

This reticle is easily one of the better military-focused ones designed by PA/Dmitri.

Set the scope up so that you have to shift your head forward when in prone and that elimnates the issues with high mounts while still being able to use 1x when standing.

That was a great review/overview. I've tried 1.7's, almost hopped on the 1.93 bandwagon (giving 2021 vibes), and settled on the 1.5" mount, and happy with it. Also, the footage of the reticle outdoors was really crisp, any pointers you can share on how you get the camera to focus and show that so well?

The optic is absolutely fantastic. I was able to contact Dimitri at PA and he gave me an exact zero chart for my grain and barrel length (13.7). I am also running a 1.70 badger ordance mount. I will say I’m glad I went with the 1.70 over the 1.53 Simply bc I hate cranking my kneck down. The glass is so clear and I think this has to be the best value 1-8 out there. I was curious how you were able to use Strelok with the ban in place though. If you don’t mind me asking

What are you using for a plate to put the 509 in top. I’ve noticed badged does not make one for it

My PLXc has a weird amount of play back and forth in the magnification ring, like maybe a millimeter or so. Have you noticed that on yours?

Maybe i missed it but did you say who makes the piggyback top ring mount? I have searched for a Badger Ordnance piggyback rmr mount but havent been able to find one...thanks

What scope caps are these? I couldn’t find the size for mine

@primaryarms Make a LPVO with these qualities and will be an absolute game changer: 1. Same excellent 1x 2. Same size and weight 3. Aimpoint bright!! 4. Top magnification of 4x! That is plenty and will help eyebox / scope performance. Magnification wars of LPVOs are losing sight of what the purpose is to the detriment of the performance. 5. Less busy reticle. Preferably the horseshoe with bdc drops. 6. Capped turrets 7. Clear cross hairs like the schmidt and bender 8. Oh yeah and must be FFP

4 Aiming systems on 1 gun... not my setup but maybe lower scope and no iron's?

That gun deserves a multicam arid hot pocket.

What size caps did you get for this

Nice set up…. Expensive but nice nonetheless.
