A true Terminator fan would instantly notice that this is the endoskeleton from the first movie. Here's how. Well first of all the neck vertebrae have this vertical line that goes down the spine. Then you got the shoulder wires that actually go infront of the collar bone pistons unlike in T2 endos where they run beneath and behind those pistons. And finally you've got the lences. I mean the T1 endo is the only one that had a sort of pupil effect where they'd shrink and enlarge whenever the terminator zooms in and out on different things. Also there's the limping pose so yeah...that's a no brainer. Definitely T1 and not T2!
@@DanielDimov358 I love the Terminator series and didn't know that. But yeah by the pose I would say T1. Also I loved the T1 scene at the factory and him searching for them in all the noise and his eyes zooming in and out. Totally creepy. I would love to get my sideshow t800 endoskull back but so far they have all been damaged in some way. Gotta find a decent one or buy this. I'm not sure about the width either and the teeth look strange to me.
Yes this is the Terminator from the first movie. I know why :) Notice down at it's left ankle, The Achilles piston is broken and bent out, that's why it is dragging it's foot behind in this pose. like in the movie T1 (at 2:13 when she's looking around the other head) I have seen this video a number of times and this is the first time i noticed it :)
I think the fact that the backdrop is of the truck from T1 exploding and the base is the asphalt and broken glass and metal combined with the fact the license is "The Terminator " is enough proof, regardless of the tells on the endoskeleton.
Actually I just noticed one more thing and that's probably the biggest giveaway! The hand design is the one from T1. Not many people know it but the hand design had to be changed for T2 since the one from the first film wasn't physically accurate. It didn't fit inside a human hand or it didn't move like a real human hand I dunno. It was something with the finger joints but this is definitely the terminator 1 hand rigth there.
The reason the hands are different in T1 and T2 is because (or so I've read) that they lost the original castings and designs from the first movie. So, instead of trying to replicate them, it was easier to just design new ones.
Amazing of all the statues they have I love the Terminator one and I am a huge fan of the Terminator series only one and two. This is really cool. I would give anything to have that in my room if I win the lottery half a billion dollars if I had the money. I would buy Christian Grey's penthouse and have all of these in my playroom and movie posters, and Jurassic Park T-REX! too Fifty Shades Of Grey and being a total nerd.
Hachette is doing a same scale part works build if the quality matches what they are showing in the previews then it may look as good or even better than this
At least they finally got the teeth right. Have this pre ordered. I'm not usually one for spending this kind of money on a figure but as a huge terminator 1 fan this piece just looks stunning.
The neck is not too short. Just imagine flesh and tissue on the Endo. IMO many other statues have too short necks where the head sits directly on the shoulder. This looks ridiculous.
