This is one of many Primo water dispensers. This model is 601234 and is sold at Costco. This is designed to help you decide if this is the right dispenser for you. You may see why these are preferred over top loading units.
Thank you kind Sir. I saw this at our local Costco earlier for $179.99 but did not get it until your review, so after typing this, I am going back to Costco. Luckily we only live less than 10 min drive. Appreciate the video. Thanks again and great video.
@@ASD-DAD we love it. No more picking up the bottle to install upside down. Awesome unit and easy to turn the switches on and off on the back upper edge. But we just leave them all ON. Highly recommended.
About to order this unit, do you think it's too noisy when its cooling water if its near the bedroom/in bedroom? does it run / cool frequently? may put it in spare room.
I think I lost my initial reply. It's not too loud. About the same as a mini refrigerator. It doesn't start cooling too much unless it's in use alot. A quick note. Sometimes the siphon hose can rattle adding to the noise. Easily fixed by adjusting the bottle and holding the hose stable.
I watched the whole thing for the self cleaning but nothing. Here is what the manual says Green night light Blue chills water Red heats water Black activates self-sanitization (press and hold for 5 seconds) Note: The self-sanitizing feature will automatically begin a cycle every 24 hours following the time of the first cycle. To begin the first cycle, press and hold the black switch on the back of the dispenser for 5 seconds. The self-sanitization cycle takes 45 minutes to complete. We do not recommend dispensing or drinking water during this cycle as it may have a slight smell from the harmless ozone. This smell will completely dissipate a couple of minutes after the cycle is complete.
So far everything is working just fine. We've gone through about eight 5 gallon jugs. The water is very cold when it comes out and there have been no issues with the pump or anything. The empty indicator flashes letting us know when it's time to change the jug. So far we are extremely pleased with this cooler. We don't use the hot side that often but when we do, it's doing well also.
@@homemadechow3532I have the same water dispenser at my house, but for some reason the water doesn’t come out very cold. Is there any switch or something that makes the water cold?
