i think it was more the *way* he said it tbf. even though he was right, there were probably ways of warning her of the danger without just openly accusing her husband of planning to murder her (which she was never going to believe anyway).
Ethically correct but practically redundant It makes sense for Theo that such a loyal knight would just tell someone bluntly and directly when he foresees danger but for any chance of that working they really needed to get Annabelle on board so Primsy could hear it from someone she knows well and trusts and not a random middle aged gummy knight The only reaction Primsy could reasonably give to that is to take offense She was never gonna listen to Theo but at least after everything went down she could remember that encounter and know the Candians really were looking out for her
