People thinking this is wholesome and I'm just remembering how she tried to say say that she's single by explaining exactly how her husband died and how she's a widow.
It fits the whole Game of Thrones vibe. Also, she had gotten married the day before and he tried to kill her to get her position. The battle she mentioned at the start of the scene, as she thanked Liam's bravery, was the one he was killed in right after stabbing her. So yeah, her way of talking about it is fair hahaha
@@HenriqueErzinger Also, they never consummated the marriage. So it's debatable if she is a widow or not, but her and Liam's conversations were about this level of awkward the whole way through. Really, every conversation with LIam was about this awkward.
It made me really admire her because as naive as she seemed, she accepted the reality of this world. Compare her to Sansa and Joffrey, she absorbed and processed the betrayal of her fantasy of love very quickly and maturely.
This is a quiet game of chicken, Brennan trying to getting Ally to take any kind of initiative with this relationship. And Ally stonewalling, saying "No Brennan, we both want this for these characters, but Liam will be oblivious to the very end!"
I don’t think that Liam was being oblivious here, I think he was being very intentional about the entire conversation and picking up the hints dropped by primsy, but only reacting in ways where he felt confident he wasn’t gonna mess up horribly (see -2 charisma mod). But yes chicken is actually such a good way to describe it
I love the fact that not only are they an ace for ace couple but the fact that primsy represents a different and less talked about aspect of asexuality that isn't represented so often in media is wonderful to me
I love the way Ally played this character of course, but there's something comforting about how even in an asexual relationship, the guy can just not pick up on hints and look like a total dummy 😊
Honestly I feel the need to point out that the Primsy face Brennan makes around 2:00 is probably the most convincing Classic Disney Princess Face since Amy Adams in Enchanted
@@dayalasingh5853 Basically something like “Amethar can’t help it and does not want to…but he keeps picturing Primsy Coldbottle getting slammed down big style and her head just shattering with milk spilling everywhere…and he is traumatized.”
Congrats. Took me the better part of 40 years to come to that realisation, most of those years I didn't even know Ace was a thing people could be. Representation matters.
More happy asexual political marriages in fantasy, please and thank you. I’m not even ace but it seems like a genuinely great way for people to be happy together.
Liam and Kristen are somehow both the same and opposite characters. Like you could show me the transcript without the character's names and I wouldn't know which was which sometimes, then you get stuff like "Officer Kristen" and "Maybe a political marriage?"
It’s probably part of some royalty free or commercial song library. You could try asking some of the relevant production crew on social media if you’re still interested in finding it
So I don't wanna assume anything untoward about these characters clearly somewhere on the Asexual spectrum. But just hear me out on this: A cute little peppermint bark child. XD
not ace but this is very sweet everyone deserves representation and understanding no matter what. also mordecai has the same colors as the ace flag and twilight has the same colors as the bi flag so... *can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky...* is basically a bi-ace solidarity song
Unironically Ally playing this character helped me realize that I’m Ace! It never really occurred to be before watching CoC that “physical activity” isn’t required to love and cherish your partner. This is why queer representation is so important, it helps people find and understand themselves!
